i agree, i learned that after the PS3 hacking, and i didn't even lose anything because of it.

i never played a Guild Wars game so i can't say whether it is bad or not.

Not so much that im against monthly fees, i can understand why they are needed for server maintence and such, but over 10$ a month is rediculous, say 100,000 people buy the game, and you charge 5 dollars a month, thats 500,000 dollars a month(Thats half a million btw), I highly doubt it takes that much to update the game and make sure the servers dont collapse. GW just happens to be free(in regards to monthly fees), and yet they update more consistantly than wow (which is more than 10 dollars a month), awkward hmm.

Guild Wars wasn't a bad game. It was great for PvP, and for being a game that is mostly instanced it's understandable that it'd be F2P.

Guild Wars 2 however won't be completely instanced. It'll be an open world like most MMO's, except not be a WoWclone.

Bioware is starting to make me nervous.

It's not just the cost of performing massive content updates and maintaining a series of gigantic servers, but paying the salaries of the thousands of people performing these jobs.

And for not being a WoWclone, I find it entertaining that all those "new" features in Guild Wars 2 were done in either vanilla WoW or later expansions.

There may be things that resemble features in WoW but they're not related at all. I've played WoW and they aren't the same at all.
