LOL, 'Syer, permission to leave the station...'
All I want is to use my entire team to fight the bad guys at the end, otherwise it's just like, who cares?!

Re: MASS EFFECT 3 [now with spoilers]
So I just got out of the ME3 demo here at e3. I haven't played the previous two games, so I can't comment much on continuity, but as far as gameplay and graphics go, the game looks and feels really good.
One of the important things the demo guy stressed is that they've designed it to allow for multiple play styles. You can run and gun, focus on squad-based tactics, or go for stealth. All three are viable, and all three have mechanics that allow for these play styles.
A few things the guy noted as being new was an energy-based melee weapon that straps to your arm for close combat, similar to knife killing in games like BC2 and MW2, frag grenades, and a bench system for weapon modifications reminiscent of a mix of Dead Space and KotOR.
He also noted that scale had been really increased, since you're fighting 100-foot-tall super intelligent machines that rape everything.

Holy flying spaghettimonster, that sounds awesome!
I love how they manage to take something that's pretty much perfect and IMPROVE IT

Just curious, did you play with a controller or using kinect?

Re: MASS EFFECT 3 [now with spoilers]
There better be some part where the council is getting attacked by the Reapers and calls us for help
Council: "Shephard!! We need your help, our ship is under attack by Reapers!!!!"
Shephard: "Im sorry, under attack by what?"
Council: "Raepers Shepard, REAPERS!!! HELP!!!"
Shephard: "Oh im sorry council, I thought you said THEY DON'T EXIST!!!"
*Proceed to t-bag their bodies*

Re: MASS EFFECT 3 [now with spoilers]
Well we got quite a few forces to fight em
Asari Fleet
Turian Fleet
Alliance Fleet
Salarian Forces
Rachni
United Krogan
Commander Shepard (who is himself his own Army)
Though Britain is already mostly fucked.
Seems a big part of the game is going to each of the Council member home worlds and requesting aid to fight the Reapers. (Krogan one should be pretty easy:
"you are asking the Krogan to fight the most powerful force in the entire universe that has destroyed countless civilizations throughout all of known time? Let me grab my shotgun"

Oh yes, I did forget the quarians and Geth.
The shadow broker just makes deals and stuff though, she can help with funds and such but I doubt she has any connections to massing a fleet.

Re: MASS EFFECT 3 [now with spoilers]
Shadow Broker can greatly help with intel and funds.
Besides as an actual fighter she's not to be underestimated.

Ignored it as I had already seen it when it was originally released around the time of that trailer.
