Re: Halo: Reach 2.0
ODST ViDoc 1 is my response to that, the whole end of it wasn't in the game and was about the same length as Halseys screen time, HOW do we know Bungie wasn't doing Damage control after how she looked in Halo Legends

Re: Halo: Reach 2.0
Maybe Halsey is in the game, but is unaware of the Spartans. They already had a model and voice actor, so they figured they'd have the birth mother of the spartan program give Noble Team an introduction.

Re: Halo: Reach 2.0
I was expecting Remember Reach to be something as awe inspiring as the believe battle of Halo 3.
I don't even know what the point of that was, I feel cheated.

Re: Halo: Reach 2.0
yea... the remember reach was lame
none of the acting is good.... why are those marines informed about the whereabouts of a classified unit's location and actions?

Re: Halo: Reach 2.0
I think you guys think WAY too seriously about these advertisements, but that's just me.
I don't fully understand the whole Remember Reach thing. I mean I get it, but like Dud said, I'd rather just have something along the lines of the Halo 3 Believe ad. It matters not though, my anticipation for it has not changed.

Re: Halo: Reach 2.0
That wasn't what he was saying...At all.
I can bitch all I want about things they've already released. I can bitch about a half-assed ad campaign, a complete disregard for their own canon, and obnoxious characters.
It isn't like I have to play something to make a single judgement about one of it's elements. I like the game as a whole from what I've seen and played, but I certainly have the right to complain about things that are sub par.

Cat, Noble 2. She is brilliant.
--[Halsey]---
There are no technical hurdles she can't overcome. But her curiosity borders on insubordination.
Hey, it looks like I'm not the only one who thinks shielded space jets are out of place in Halo, how come no one give me no backup in the V1 thread!? Also, if the shields on the Sabre required so much power that it needed a rocket assisted take off, it could always, you know, divert all power to the engines, and then turn on shields when it's in high orbit. It's a pretty weak explanation as is, when they can just say that they wanted to appeal to a wider range of people.

You're an artist, not an engineer.
As someone who's working towards his ASE, let me ASSURE you that booster rockets on a ground-based orbital fighter make sense.

Re: Halo: Reach 2.0
I'm studying to be an engineer, but you know what would make more sense on a ground based orbital (space) fighter? It NOT being ground based. (I thought we already had the space-manufacturing argument?)
In this case, it would make the most sense for it NOT to be awkwardly put in game.
"But, Ringleader, her curiosity borders on insubordination!" You say...
And I say NO! None of that!

Just watched the ending leaked.
Looks like I should go dump my copy of TFoR in the trash.
