Name one other conclusion that doesn't involve an all mighty diety (God).ReconToaster wrote:Civ wrote:Being as it's the only logical conclusion that's available, why isn't it logical to come to such a conclusion?
I don't think it's any more of a logical idea than many other theories out there. I don't think it's "the only logical" theory.
There really is no such thing as a "logical conclusion" when it comes to the 'creation' of the cosmos.

If people read the book in the first place, WWII probably would of never happened..Death no more wrote:lol you actually read it?..... NAZI!!!!!!!!! ::BBJynne wrote:Zaki90 wrote:Mein Kampf

It labled everything hitler intended on doing, very clearly..

Erm... ok. I could make up just about anything that I want.
The explosion that might have caused the big bang could have been the reaction of two antimatter particles that have always existed.
Our world could be a micro-cosmos within the world of another intelligent race... which always existed?
We could go the path of every universe being surrounded by a membrane which sparks explosion upon bumping into other universes. These membranes could have always been.
You see, when you take out the factor of everything having to come from something (which you have to do eventually) you can make up pretty much whatever you want.
The theory of god is no less silly, but rather simply widely accepted.

So did God, but I have a feeling that's your point... I just can't see why it's relevant.

Re: Existence of God
Science doesn't use anything that's beyond its explanation, including infinity and infinite existance.
The second law of thermodynamics, all things lead to a state of chaos. In other words, something can't be forever. Recon, I know that science changes and whatnot - I understand this - but still...

Re: Existence of God
You see, this is where science and religion are separated. God does not fit science because science is simply humanity's understanding of the world around us.thane321 wrote:CivBase wrote:Science doesn't use anything that's beyond its explanation, including infinity and infinite existance.

One thing both Atheists and Theists agree on: humans don't know everything.
Re: Existence of God
so if we don't know everything, how can we definitively know there is a God?

Re: Existence of God
law of conservation of mass and energy do not exsist for quantum physics
they are used as constants for basic physics... just like 180 degrees is used as a constant for the total degrees in a triangle in basic trigonometry
don't start asking about mathmatical equations and constants to use as proof if you have no clue how to use them yourself civbase

Re: Existence of God
?????
This is where I give up. There's no reason for me not to believe in God, so I'll just keep on believing (sp?) in God.

and now I will say what i've said in every religion thread
ARGUING ABOUT RELIGION IS POINTLESS
nobody is going to change their beliefs because of what somebody on the internet told them...
thats why i've stayed out of this thread

Re: Existence of God
religion is proved it exists yaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyy
Jesus is easier to prove cause He existed and hundreds of people saw Him die and hundreds of perople saw Him after wards alive it even challenges people to find some one that was there to tell them that Jesus didn't rise from the dead. no one could cause any one there saw the truth
ask away ill answer your questions
