That is the case for TOB, EA ported it onto the 360 and PS3, so I would not be too surprised if it was the same for L4D.

You'll find that a lot of TF2 trailers will have the EA logo somewhere on it.

Battlefield Bad Company? Battlefield Heroes? Left 4 Dead (apparently)?

yeah about L4D, I never remember seeing EA anywhere associated with it, but all the TV Spots start with "EA!!!" maybe the console version is published by EA?

EA publishes and handles the retail distribution of Valve games. Valve doesn't feel like dealing with it, and holds the right to publish it separately on Steam.

I believe Vivendi used to publish Valve games, but after they started selling their games on Steam, Vivendi flipped out, and they went to court. Valve won. Very Happy

I don't think I would count L4D with the rest of the games, as Valve is independent, and not a subsidiary of EA, like all of the other studios mentioned.

On another note, I don't really like 'Bad Company'

Since we haven't talked about it since May apparently, let's get back on topic.

The trailer released at E3.

Off the bat, the lighting, graphics, weapons and armor, everything looks great.

The music sounds fantastic, a good mix of the music we loved in the old game with new Wild West tinge on it.

Assumptions to make:
Obvious: The Normandy is damaged, this is what causes the speculation that Shepard is dead. And there is a new (and telling from the developer diary "Prelude", several new) alien species and enemies.
Not as Obvious (from the trailer): The game will probably take place in the Terminus systems, which were menioned in Mass Effect as being lawless and having a heavy criminal presence.

Anyone read the two books? I have, and I must say, they're pretty good. Cerebus is a pretty shady organisation, and the collectors seem out of sorts too. Will the Reapers return in ME2? Maybe not, but I think they will in #3.

From what I heard, there isn't real ammo per se, more of a heat drop, with the number representing how many shots you can ire before overheating. The heat drop just switches it, to you fire longer without overheating.

As for this, I'm really looking forward to it.

The only problem is Mass Effect 2 and Bioshock 2 Come out little under a week of each other......

ARRGGGGHHHHHHH MY HEAD MIGHT EXPLODE DUE TO THE EPICNESSS!

They had heat drop in the first one, and it wasn't like this, your number goes down every time you shoot and it looks as though there is ammo lying around.

It is basically 6 weeks now you know.

It's comes out the end of January/ Begining of Feburary.

I'm going to have one more run through of the original in the meantime. I need to set up the story the way I want it for the second one.

I've just started my final run of the first game setting it up for the second.

Decisions Decisions.

I wonder to how much degree what I do in this playthrough will effect the sequel?

So I just watched a video that showcased Mass effects story so far and all I got to say is...

OMG I need to buy and play ME1. I never got the chance to and I'm so going to now to prepar for ME2.

Oh one more thing. I noticed that Mass Effect has some novels that extend some of the story. Can someone tell if there any
good and worth reading?

Heavy Weapons have ammunition. Makes sense, because if a missle launcher only overheated...well, that would lead to major problems. Razz

They could have simply substituted some high energy guided weapon for the Rocket Launcher, but it looks like all weapons will have ammunition.

Oh I always let her live.

I'd better get Rachai Back up in the second one.

I'll probably save the Council as well, so they'll owe me big time, and I can let their fleet get pwned by the Reapers.

I was going to let the Council die this time...Only having a council that owes you is A LOT more preferable to a new council. Razz
and we get to see the Quarian homeworld. cheers....er, the world they live on anyways, since they're exiled and all...
