Re: Mass Effect 2
Well, according to nearly every game review, it's nearly perfect.

Re: Mass Effect 2
Because, for a sequel in a trilogy, is nearly perfect.
I'm also done with this argument. We can multi-quote all we want, but the fact remains: we just do not agree on what was good and what wasn't.
There's no point in arguing matters that rely so strongly on personal preference.

I love how you call yourself the Grammar Nazi yet that first line is a grammatical dog's breakfast. hurr
Anyway, not sure if I should get this or not. I'm working a fuckload over the next fortnight, so I'll have some cash to throw around on pointless shit. Should ME2 be included in this pointless shit?

Re: Mass Effect 2
Nice, you must have beaten almost every side mission to get that high a level on the first playthough, have you gotten the Powergamer achievement?
I've beaten the first one 6 times, and I'm on my third playthough for ME2.

Re: Mass Effect 2
I beat ME1 over 20 times.
I'm working through my Renegade playthrough. Then I plan to play through it on Insanity,
Mass Effect 2 was like a meal at a fancy resturant. A very nice meal, with some useless garnish and it leaves you wanting more.

That's obsessive, especially for an RPG

I loved ME1 and I got every achievement an slight change I could. Those ally achievements need several playthroughs to get.

Re: Mass Effect 2
Yeah, I couldn't get those achievements no matter what I did, even beating all the side missions. Do you have to beat the game several times with the same team mates to get the squadmate achievements?

Re: Mass Effect 2
To get them you have to do virtually all the side missions and get up to about to about Ilos with the same team without changing them ever.
They're very tricky. Asari is the hardest as you do have to do virtually everything.

I always wondered: is there a way to save Ashley AND Kaidan?

I tried the first time, but there isn't, it just isn't possible.
Because there isn't enough room for both of them on the dialog wheel when you're talking to the Illusive Man for the second time, and asking about your old team.

Re: Mass Effect 2
You can customize the standard armor, but not the Dragon/Cerberus/Terminus armor, so I used the standard. You can switch them out on the Normandy, (which is kind of bogus compared to the original), but there all right.
