The map is purely designed so that if you don't have a sniper or vehicle you are cannon fodder, and they only place you are ever safe is your tiny base, surrounded by vast openness.
And the spawns are plain terrible.
I think that's a bit overboard.

If you aren't in a Warthog, you're hiding in the cliffs or being spawn camped.
i played big team slayer on it and spent most of the game outside of vehicles. held my own

Re: Halo: Reach 2.0
Blood Gulch was built as a power map. The bases and cliffs are for snipers. The rest of the area is for vehicles. It's the map's NATURE.
In your defense, however... I think it would have been better if they replaced the tank/wraith with two hornets and changed one of the LAAG hogs to a rocket hog.

The reason why people bitched about the Scorpion was that it was pretty easy to spawn trap a team with it, as there aren't that many power weapons close to their spawn.
They still pretty easy to take out. Hell Co-ordinated fire with basic weapons will take it out. The Addition of Evade would of made all the difference you needed on foot.

Re: Halo: Reach 2.0
The Scorpion could fire once every two seconds, the shell traveled almost instantly, was almost perfectly accurate, and could 1 or 2 shot every other vehicle. If they just made the thing fire slower it would have been fine, but the Wraith is fine too.Ringleader wrote:huh, I bet your one of those people that begged Bungie to take the scorpion out of hemorrhage...

This.
Not to mention it gave us the birth of one of, if not the greatest machinima known to man.
- Spoiler:
- And the Reach variant was used for a Bookends to the end of Revelations, and possible end of the whole series.

Re: Halo: Reach 2.0
That Halopedia was branching off from Wikia? I had my suspicions. Halo Fanon was considering the same thing, because Wikia is moving away from being a Wiki site and more towards being a Facebook site. It irks us all.
Re: Halo: Reach 2.0
Meh, so long as they keep the fanon crap off the articles, I'm fine with it. It's my number-one source for Halo info, when I don't have the books handy, but I keep my BSometer handy.
Loved the ending of RvB. I just wish... Does anyone else think that the ending of the last season of RvB would've been better filmed in the original Blood Gulch, using the original game?
And does anyone have ideas about NT naming his DMR "Charlene"?

Nope, I've gotten 3, and an inconceivable. I should have gotten an unfriggenbelievable, but I guess the game is still a little buggy, I got 44 kills and zero deaths in a game.
