Going to the midnight release tomorrow

I actually haven't preordered it (I wasn't supposed to be able to get it) so I'm hoping that Best Buy is gonna have some extra copies because I know Gamestop won't.

I figure that most people are going to go to Gamestop, Walmart, or have ordered from Amazon for their copies, not Best Buy. I remember I went into Best Buy the day Halo 3 came out and they had dozens of extra copies on the shelves.

Best Buy is giving away a 20$ gift card if you buy the game there from the 14th through the 18th. I'm going to the Best Buy midnight launch event. See you guys online.

His cheeks were like roses, his nose like a fairy!
His droll little mouth was drawn up like a bow,
And the beard of his chin was just as bad as Sage's.

The stump of a pipe he held tight in his hammer tight,
And the fire it encircled his head like a wreath.
He had a broad face and a big fat belly,
That shook when he laughed, like a bowlful of Gruntelly!(Grunt Jelly)!

He was chubby and plump, a right nasty fugly troll.,
And I laughed when I saw him, in spite of myself!
A wink of his eye and a twist of his head,
Soon gave me to know I had nothing to dread.

He spoke not a word, but went straight to swinging,
And filled all the bags, then turned into a jerk.
And laying his hammer aside my face,
And giving a nod, away I flew!

He sprang to his crew, to his team gave a whistle,
And away they all flew like buggers in rat's nest.
But I heard him exclaim, ere he drove out of sight,
"Happy Reachmas to all, and to all, you hack my Goddamn game and I'll slap you like him!"

Throughout the legacy of Halo we have solely remembered the billions murdered by the covenant invaders throughout UNSC controlled space. The battle at Harvest, the gradual loss of the outer colonies, and the growing list of battles lost to the covenant. But most importantly we have been obliged to remember the fall of Reach, the 9/11 of the Halo timeline. We take moments in the middle of the novels to picture the glorious and horrific destruction portrayed in the words in front of our eyes.

But despite the growing hatred that both the real and the fictional humans of both our reality, and the one created by Bungie grows, we never stop to think about the millions of covenant that will be mercilously slaughtered on 9/14/10. Whether they be turned to swiss cheese by a chaingun's rain of fire, splazered, DMR'd, sniped, bashed, splattered, cut up, pummeled, t-bagged by a spartan's titanium crotch piece, or blown to bits, few will stop to think of the sheer terror that they will cause to these not so different creatures of intelligence.

Covenant are living beings too, and while some may show a tiny shred of compassion for their doomed souls, the rest of us gamers will dive head first into this new conflict with the notion "fuck with us and we'll fuck back". 9/14/10 will go down as the day in covenant record logs where they met the finest soldiers that their enemies had to offer, and that they didnt go down without a fight.

To every gamer out there, I can sincerely say that we are gonna rock their world.

Well, just had the weirdest night of my life, but I got the game. Probably won't play it till tomorrow as I'm dead tired, so hopefully get to do some co-op with you guys

Could have got it earlier today, thanks to New Zealand being first in time zones, but I couldn't be bothered.
I'll get it tomorrow since our teachers are going on strike the day after Reaches released.

Whow, I canceled my gamestop order a while back when I had to live on campus, but I guess they only returned my down payment. I can still claim my Gamestop copy with all the goodies!
