And I have no clue why you think that PC shooters are so fun to play.
I've played Portal on the Xbox, and PC, and I still like the Xbox version more.
It really is a matter of preference.

I finnished the Campaign like maybe an hour or so ago, and I was enjoying it so much that when I was done I was like:
"Oh man, that was awesome...wait, I still have Matchmaking, FireFight AND Forge!"
Talk about getting your moneys worth. Well, at least for me personally.

That would hurt a lot more if I actually respected your opinion. Ah well...
Pinpoint accuracy with the mouse, adjustable controls, a screen that's so much closer...PiEdude wrote:Rasq'uire'laskar wrote:I'm not.KrAzY wrote:enjoying this game immensely

True. Let's see what I think in six months, when I have more than a few hours of experience.PiEdude wrote:I've played Portal on the Xbox, and PC, and I still like the Xbox version more.

I don't think a single player first person puzzle game that happens to have some elements of a shooter is comparable with a typical first person shooter. I'm not saying Portal is anything but super amazing, but it isn't exactly the best example.
Oh, also, Doug Lombardi, Vice President of Marketing over at Valve, whom I have spoken with in person, personally expressed the people playing shooters on console would be at an inherent disadvantage to people playing shooters on PC, which was a key reason we almost certainly wouldn't see cross-platform multiplayer with any Valve competitive shooter like Team Fortress 2 or Left 4 Dead (2) like we will with Portal 2.

I honestly don't even remember what the old one was like now, it's been so long.
From what I remember, it was pretty similar to the 360 controller, except a little bulkier, and with the "black" and "white" buttons, instead of the right and left bumpers. Though, I always did love how the white button turned on the flashlight in Halo. That was just so cool at the time

now are we talking about the big ol controler or the one the 360 controler is based off of. if its the first then i personaly beleive it was to big for comfort.Rasq'uire'laskar wrote:That! ODST was notable for being a little different in gameplay elements, and was advertised as such.
Now what?

Divine Virus just advertised it as being similar three posts ago
