Ya, but what would you rather do? Live looking like a fool? or Die looking badass? I mean really if you had that visor you wouldnt be saying it was stupid its fucking amazing. The scratches give it so much detail.

Yeah, how lame he looks with a skull painted on his helmet.

No, he looks like a fool WITH the skull painted on his visor. MC was the original bad ass, and that's because he wasn't trying to be a bad ass for little elementary school children, by scratching his helmet, and severely hindering his view.

Only he probably can't see, is emo, it looks more like your stereotypical demon's head than a skull IMO, and it's a WAY too odvious attempt to apply badass. When MC is still more badass.

1) A SPARTAN does not look like a fool...

2) A SPARTAN doesn't care if they look like a fool...

3) A SPARTAN looks BA w/o a skull...

4) He looks like a fool when he can't see anything on the battlefield...

Say as you wish, but if I had a visor like that I would definetly do the same thing. Scratches all over the place in a Skull fasion. Just has awesome written all over it.

But JB, that's just natural selection at work. You'd scratch up your visor like that, and then end up getting into some kind of accident and dying, because you can't see anything.

Thats the thing, its not JUST the scratched helmet, its the idea of the Developers shifting the focus and style of the Halo universe to appeal to a bunch of new generation morons. I am sure there was a point where I though skulls were "cool", but that was like, 18 years ago, when I was still a fetus, and that is WAY to young for me to play Halo, let alone be significant for a reputable company like Bungie to base/build their kick ass story/games around.

If you still go to school you probably have noticed that your underclassmen are, just despicable people (not like, a stereotypical view of upperclassman disliking underclassmen, but they rude, and disrespect teachers, and say things like "I like turtles!", it's like they missed a critical step in growing up that would have caused them to aquire some manners/brains, and view skulls as childish and lame), those people are the next generation of Halo players, so naturally thats where most companies would shift their focus, to accommodate for the decadence and degradation.

Bungie should be better then then to stoop down to such a low level. Bungie should make it so that the new game is like, the first Halo, but better mechanically. I mean, in Modern Warfare 2, what the hell was the deal with the new characters? Roach? Soap? Ghost? Floaty Boat? how incredibly lame, I really never want to play MW2 ever again, it is poorly engineered at its core, and not very fun online but mainly, its repackaged B$ that is not worth its price tag.

Not just in school or work, but on TV as well. HAVE YOU SEEN THE NEW NERF GUN COMMERCIALS ON CARTOON NETWORK? Its like, an appeal to douche-fags the world over,

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TZ0Ye2eQREc

THESE F&#K!*G PEOPLE!!!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NDvkgkxcYU8

they are appealing to them because thats where the money is, not where the class, genius and style is. I mean, Nerf guns for crying out loud... Games that are built around this mentality are like, Dirt 2, NOT Halo.

I fear what is to become of our culture, because if you haven't noticed, it clearly falling apart...

It sounds like they're just going "NURR NURR NURR NURR" at the end, it made me laugh.

Anyway, unfortunately that's how the market, and advertising works. If you haven't already realised, minions with no significant social or individual conscience represent a majority of the consumer market. Why make the individuals within society who actually analyse things on a level higher than "OH THATS A COOL NERF GUN, HERP DERP, OOH AND SPORTS, DREP", when they're a minority, and essentially a niche market?
