My Magnum Opus, longer than The Fall of Reach, and still unfinished.

Longer than fall of reach.... I find trouble believing that
Two hundred and fifty single-spaced 8x11" pages of paper, as measured on Openoffice Writer.

Yeah me too. It was a tad obvious.

Vigil, my response is that (kinda spoiler)

I loved it though. Plus I saw it for free because the heating broke Very Happy Probably added something to the film.

I know that, but it was in the same sort of vain as that moment, where all seemed lost, for then something that has been sitting on the side for the majority of the story, finally got of it's ass and helped.

It better not beat the Dark Knight.

I don't think I could stand another decade where a James Cameron shitty film is the number 1 gross selling film.

I thought Dark Knight was number 1 and Titanic was 3.

Ah well.

That film made me hate Leonaro Decpario for a very very long time

It took me awhile for that to chance, with films like the Aviator, Gangs of New York and The Departed to return him to a decent actor.

I don't think it ruined our lives, and it wasn't that bad of a movie. I don't know, in a way you could say it was okay or good.

It was bad.

Worst of all it was offensive, yet nobody seemed to realise it then, or even to extent now.

If you aren't aware I'll say this. What relevence does the main story have to do what happened to the Titanic?

Does it need to carry relevance to the what ACTUALLY happened Titanic?

What the hell happened on the Titanic anyway? and why would it be preferable to watch a history film on it? I remember it was just about some old lady and her experience while on the Titanic.

and how was it offensive? did it offend icebergs or giant cruise ships? what are you saying?

It wasn't bad, it was actually a pretty good movie, just not the best I have seen, and I don't see a reason why it wouldn't be the highest grossing film, because it obviously appeals to a lot of people for a good reason.

Isn't that like saying Inglorious Bastard's was offensive because it had no relevance to WWII?

fixed!
and yes it was very offensive to... say yes the giant ships but also the people that actually had to live through that hell and seeing it be disgraced by some overplayed love story that never happened in the first place.

Inglorious bastards is a comedy it doesnt count. you go expecting to see people being offended when you go to a comedy.

I think I heard that Avatar beat Titanic in its first day alone. It would make sense, as inflation would cause the income numbers to go up drastically, even if the value is the same.
