Yeah the fights are so intense

lol I remember in firefight on heroic I had a fuel rod and hammer chieftain trying to kill me, I was freaking out throw so many grenades Also when I got trapped in a corner by a hunter, lol he slammed me into the wall. I watched it in theater and my dude was launched up into the air and pretty much smacked his head on the ceiling It was so realistically awesome XDYam Head wrote:Death no more wrote:lol i remember that part,i sneaked around the brutes and engineer. Re: ODST Mega Thread [*spoilers*]
I loved it. It was such a fresh, needed change from playing as the omnipotent, respected Master Chief. The marines made quips in your presence, and involved you more. It was just...wonderful. Best Halo campaign yet. If Reach doesn't have an ODST campaign, I shall indeed be upset.
Plus, the amount of cinematic moments in the game was brilliant. All you people saying it's a rip off, just stop bitching about it. Is there any point? You're not going to suddenly persuade us that it's rubbish. You keep your opinions, we'll keep ours.

Re: ODST Mega Thread [*spoilers*]
I wouldn't say it was that good...
If you think about it, it was a little like Halo CE. You had a shield bar (stamina) and a health bar. That and you moved faster and jumped higher with the turrets and missle pods than you did in H3... which is BS.

Well you are weaker than MC... you cant just waddle around getting plasma to the face. Though it is a bit unrealistic that ODST can can carry turrets at all.Gauz wrote:I wouldn't say it was that good...

My issue isn't that its bad. I've never said that. just that its far overpriced for what it is. and while some of you may believe its acceptable in this case, it starts setting a new standard for the game industry at the amount of exploitation they can do to their fan base.
Just like buying all the new guitar hero [insert band name here] games. None of them are different, and they should just do more DLC like rock band does, or AT LEAST make it a distinctly different game like The Beatles Rock Band did.
No matter how much you may complain about certain things, still buying it anyway sends a message. And its a message that you will hand over your money regardless of the content.

Yes it was overpriced, I would say 40$ would be a more acceptable price for it.KristallNacht wrote:Wolverfrog49 wrote:

I wouldve been alright with at least 45 dollars...but 60 dollars is way too overpriced.

Re: ODST Mega Thread [*spoilers*]
ODST just got major points for multiplayer gameplay... it was at least 50% more fun playing co-op on this as it was playing co-op on Halo 3
I think its a good length... I personally like shorter games over longer games...
certainly didn't kick CE out of its place as top dog of halo... not even close... but its fun and is certainly better than halo 2 or 3

I think it should have been the ODST content only as a downloadable title for $25 would be perfect. after all, we are the people that made Bungie rich and kept the xbox alive to this generation.

Re: ODST Mega Thread [*spoilers*]
They also gave us the multiplayer...
That has all the map packs which total up to $30 (used to) and however much the multiplayer of Halo 3 (biggest part of the entire game) costs. Plus ODST campaign and firefight.
I think it was worth the money... if you don't already own Halo 3 and all the map packs

Re: ODST Mega Thread [*spoilers*]
I liked the campaign, but I kind of wished I only rented it. If FireFight would have co-op 4 player xbox live (not private parties, like matchmaking) it would be better.

Re: ODST Mega Thread [*spoilers*]
I have no qualms with the price in the UK - £30, that's ten of fifteen quid cheaper than a regular game.
Bargain.

Seems to be just fine. I've played several games with him in the past few days with little to no lag.
