You find the breaker switch and learn that it is not broken, merely de-activated. A key is needed to turn it on; but you find this in a nearby desk. Other useful equipment found includes battery-powered flashlights, numerous spare lightbulbs, and a large assortment of different sized batteries.
And everyone remember to train and purchase who hasn't done so already. I'm off to bed.

Oh yeah, just because I wanted to get this day finished before I went to bed...
It's still 10:30 or something, so you can still make actions before going to sleep... but.
At 4pm the guard to the bitten refugees' room calls everyone to the door. One of them has slumped to the ground, unmoving and unresponsive. The other cries out for medical attention; but is weak, unable to move their legs. Less than fifteen minutes later he too has collapsed.

Considering the two were in comparatively little pain they reacted with utter disgust to your suggestion (this is if you asked while they were still lucid), shout at you to stop condemning them to a death you can't possibly know for certain about, and make a final desperate plea for medical supplies.
After a long period of inactivity, they reanimate at 12 noon and begin to slam against the door to the classroom.
The defences in the language department are beginning to collapse, but should hold for a while longer. The others appear to be holding strong.

Actually, I was hoping that we could just burn their bodies between onset of coma and reanimation.

Which was what I was responding to. "After a long period of inactivity" being the key to my argument. We knew it was coming, after all, and there was a guard present the whole time. Burning infected after they enter a coma is much more efficiency than wasting bullets on them, as long as we don't have to use an accelerant other than newspaper or something.

Matches shouldn't be too hard to find. And anyone who smokes will carry a lighter. And there are probably fire starters in a few of the artsier classrooms like shop and the like.

I'm assuming you'll burn them in one of the outdoor areas, right?
At 3pm the injured (yet apparently unbitten) refugee's wound has turned red and purple. He is requesting disinfectant and a change of bandages.
Well apart from dealing with the language department (or whichever place is unsealed - which you really need to do or the zombies get in) is there anything else you want to do? If not I'll move right on to day four.

And I was in the process of doing just that. I made a statement, and rather than them responding, you just NPCed a long period of time. The plan was to kill them after they entered comatose anyway, but if they wanted to go earlier, we would oblige them.

The reason I NPCd over a long time was because I didn't think I'd be able to post tonight.

Once both are comatose, I'll need something like a crowbar to cave in each of their heads with, and then we'll assign a group to carry them to the smaller outside area and burn the bodies. The assigned group will need to wear protective clothing of some sort. Long sleeves, gloves if we have them, masks from the nurse's office, etc. We're taking no chances.
