Ok since Rasq' basically said that the system requirements for SC1 are pretty low I am going to try to convince my parents to let me buy SC1 for our "business computer" and I have a couple of questions:

Should I get Starcraft (is it worth it basically?

How many expansions are there (besides Brood War)?

Has Starcraft caused any problems for anyone's computer?

and lastly, What are the actual system requirements for it?

trust me you can run it unless your using a computer from the 70's

Maybe.
It's older, so it doesn't have the flash and bang of the newer games, but the visuals are still beautiful, and the gameplay is better than many RTSs today.

There are a few mini-campaigns and Map of the Months, but those are either included with Brood War or downloadable online. And it's legal too!

lolzz.. they should have put in diffirent difficulties..but i guess that would sacrifice the all round quality of the A.I if there spending more time on 4 difficulties as oposed to one.
starcraft was released on 31 March 1998!
and still you go on battlenet and theres plenty games to join!

The rule of thumb is you must construct additional pylons. When you are done with that, you must contruct additional pylons.

Every race is very different. Pylons only apply to Protoss.
