Noc, exactly how is it not working? just wont open or what, cause if thats the case then you need to "FULL" install if u didnt, otherwise reinstall

but the campaign editor isnt all that great unless you know how to use the trigger system cause otherwise on the maps you make the computers sit there, or just mine minerals the whole time. Which i thought was a let down cause it had alot of potential

A few of the major features of StarCraft will not work... on a computer that has come into contact with pirated music.

Ive been thinking of buying these games and was wondering what exactly I would need.

Ehm, StarCraft original can be run on ANYTHING you care to buy today. Hell, a Gamecube could have run it and still have enough processing power left over to heat a cup of tea.

StarCraft II... Now that's a toughie. You might want to browse around on www.sclegacy.com, or www.Starcraft2.com. It's got to be pretty high end to run all of the death animations and such.

well, starcraft 2 is probably going to be a high processing game, and its going to need alot of space (seeing as how its being split into 3 parts... bastards) like Rasq said starcraft 1 will literally work on anything that allows it, but number two, if you can run doom 3, Quake 4, or any of the recent RTS's that have come out, you'll probably be able to run SC2

Thanks for the help so far. When does Starcraft 2 come out?? I'm watching some battle reports on youtube right now and to me it seems like the game is close to release.

Also, what would be a good PC, or preferably a gaming laptop that would be able to support SC2 and other newer games? And what would be the....average cost of it?

The Beta for SC2 is not even out yet and most people are speculating that it will come out this month. It'll take blizzard at least 2 months to fix any bugs or balancing isues found in the Beta so you can expect to see a late summer - early fall release. At the latest it'll be out at the end of november to catch christmas season.

Well then that will give me some time to save enough money for a proper gaming PC/laptop .

I'm gonna order it off amazon soon hopefully.

number 2? cause if u want SC1 you can get it at Walmart for a much cheaper price, and get it when u buy it.
