Were going back to Solstheim!

If Dawnguard was Knights of the Nine for Skyrim, this looks like the it will be the Shivering Isles so to speak.

I hope so.

Dawnguard and Hearthfire weren't really great.

I hope this is the DLC we've been waiting for.

BUT WHO CARES ABOUT THAT THERE'S DRAGON MOUNTS!

IF it's going back to solstheim do you think there'll be a werewolf campaign? Werewolves are basically my obsession in Skyrim so.... lord hircine will be pleased.

I think we've got the only Werewolf stuff with Dawnguard with the skill tree.

Besides, the second half of the Companion quest-line was basically a werewolf campaign.

Except it didn't have a lot of story to it aside from "kill those silver hand guys." Sure, there was the Harbinger's... issues, but that's about it.

There's also the aftermath stuff, where several of the others decide to get cured.

So I just picked up the PC version of Skyrim via steam sale and Im enjoying the hell out of it. Anyone have any cool mods that they'd like to share or recommend? Currently running a few graphical enhancements mods, a monster mod, and a faster respawn mod atm.

Look for a mod that gives all the shopkeepers a few thousand extra gold so you can sell more stuff to them.

Obviously you need to install all the nude mods and bigger breasts, as well as the mods to clean woman's faces.

That's what the Skyrim mod community likes right?......Right?

Seriously though, I did see a mod that categorised your inventory better that would be useful once you get later in the game. I'd say that would be useful getting.

Seems interesting. I want to create a "better war" mod that allows you to have peaceful secession, have Whiterun side with the Stormcloaks, or side with Whiterun.

A neutral option would of been nice, I mean both sides have done some pretty dubious things during this civil war, especially what you do for them once you pick one.

The fact I ended the conflict and there is STILL a stormcloak camp right outside Solitude always bugged me a little. Why the Stormcloak generals and quest guys are still unkillable after you end the war, let alone when you pick a side was also a little thing that irked me.

Yeah, I hated how there was that one dude chilling outside Whiterun for the whole time even after I'd killed everyone else. It also would have been nice to be able to convince the Legate to join us and then get the Stormcloaks to just not kill Tullius. Tullius was cool.

Maybe, but he was the general of the entire Imperial force in Skyrim. It's not very likely he'd change sides as he's not indiginous to Skyrim, and doesn't care about the whole 'Nord land for Nords' thing.

wtf?

EDIT: Also I have a question. Since I have a couple mods that added a few new equipment pieces, and since I transferred my xbox save game over to the PC, If I transfer it BACK to the xbox, will the gear simply be removed from the game? or will it cause some kind of fatal crash?

Presumably your just copying the safe files you should still have everything on both systems, and if it doesn't use ingame textures it may not work on the 360, whether it will crash or the Armor will have no texture i dont know. For ingame textures you 'should' be fine.

Also on the civil war:

There is a Neutral Option but its considered worst than the other two in my opinion. Essentially the Neutral Option lets you proclaim an Armistice between the two sides for as long as Alduin and the dragons are a problem however if you so much in looked in the direction and done a civil war quest immediately the opposite side demands twice as much stuff because (Rather Smartly) they know the dragonborn is against them.

New Vegas did both its Third and Forth Factions rather well with Wildcard and House there was really no reason a better third option doesn't exist in Skyrim.

I mean your dragonborn, now yes you can do the civil war quest before ever getting your first shout but the make peace option only applies if you go far enough in the main quest without taking a side.

There's no reason the Dragonborn can't have the Greybeards/blades support his claim for Skyrim, Then go Challenge Ulfric to a Duel, and win gaining control of the Stormcloaks, then either fight the war out as their leader or end the war without a single drop of bloodshed by negotiating with Tullius/Convincing him you should be emperor and marrying Jarl Elisif to secure Solitude's Loyalty. So really they could have improved on the Civil war by quite a bit.

That would of been good Dragoon, but sadly Bethesda doesn't have the same writers Obsidian does.

Do almost have the same amount of bugs in their games though. Razz

That's what I did the first time Drag. I joined the Stormcloaks and then didn't finish it before the main quest. It's actually the better option, as people aren't losing their souls to Alduin after they die.
