Zombies

We were talking about zombies in the chatbox. I thought it would make a cool thread.
To start, the local TV and radio stations have gone out then you realize that there is a zombie group just outside town. What to do?
These are viral zombies.

For me
1. grab weapons and a loaf of bread, this takes less than 1 minute.
2. look outside for someone to help me but keeping distance until known if they're infected.
3. Raid a weapons store to get shotguns, shells, and any other cool things (like explosives or assault rifles)
4. Find shelter.

OR

2. DRIVE AWAY FAST!

ok give me a hunting rifle and i'll show you a zombie with a bullet in its head

gather my friends in a car
raid a gun shop
raid the super market
begin to bunker down in my house
relax till the first wave

my house is huge so there is no trouble. I practically live in a mansion just more space like with less rooms

my house is small as hell

3. barricade the entrances up
4. let the virus die down

i would do this to only i would go back to the gun shop after the market and stay in the gun shop, that way you have more ammo and guns that you dont have to carry

I understand that but I just thought my house would be easier to defend. with the ammount of people being in it. and if supplies run low we make afew food raid since including my family and friends we have a big force under a roof

but the infection spreads faster with more people

and in fact i have thought about it and this should be in general discussion not th game section

it spreads faster with unprotected people if we are all armed then it is harder for the zombies to take it.

Enact my zombie plan which includes 2-5 people, maps of highways-roads-and also shows every gunstore-food store-and medical center in the city(took long as hell to make) guns, machetes, shovels, cars, food, and can be started in under 30 seconds.

We also have a list of items sorted under Needed and Optional(with a 2nd optional which are the most wanted items we would need/want)

My group is prepared ^_^


(also we are prepared for runners, better to be prepared for runners and get shamblers than prepare for shamblers and get runners)

you're doing your plan whatever it is and then you are ambushed by zombies
(if you're in a shelter instead of on the move they broke through the defenses)

my uncle is a mechanic so i would have had him and my other uncle mechanic build a ride for escape if they broke through.
we would just load up and find another place to bunker down

Our base(or one of them) is an apartment complex.

We bust out the stairs, and just in case we bring in a sledgehammer, electric chainsaw and make some doors between a lot of rooms and apartments.

If they do get in we can put plenty of walls and rooms between us and them until we get away.

Okay here is a little advice for you guys.

DO NOT GO TO MARKETS.

Has anyone seen a Market during Christmas or an emergency?


Well imagine how crowded Markets and gun stores are going to be when people find out the world is ending and being attacked by the living dead.

The store will be overcrowded by scared, angry, violent people not to mention how many of them are probably infected. Just one Z gets in there and the whole place will become Infected fast. Not to mention most supermarkets(in the US anyway) only have 1 entrance, this means there is only 1 exit too.


You go to Supermarkets=Death

ok i would go to the country and hang about in a field

With as many country people out there have guns you think they are just going to let you walk onto their property and eat/destroy their provisions?


Also everyone needs to think about raiders after the outbreak. Most likely will be bike gangs because of their toughness, falling behind a leader, and movement.

well thats why i said raid the market.... we already have afew guns so we just shoot anyone who gets in our way....
but we always could raid the asian store all the noodles you could eat

Here is one thing I can not stress enough......


Do NOT make complicated plans that involve going here, grabbing this from there, and whatnot.

The best plan you can make is to go someplace safe for a few days THEN make up a plan cause things are not going to go as planned. Get to your BOL(Bug Out Location) and just sit tight for a few days until you can figure out what to do.

we would have to go to canada then. nothing happens there and the cold will keep the virus from going up there.
