well first it will be a 3-5 hour long expansion

and its how vidmasters unlock Recon armor

also, fyi, microsoft did a BIG study about the technology behind settings up a serverless openworld fps mmo using xbox 360s and the Halo engine.

hmm..well open world to me ment RPG since the only other game you have that is open world is GTA...and in a way thats even an RPG

Real RPG's tend to have Open worlds... at least good RPG's

I think open world(in Recon's case) means rather than having a linear path to one objective like normal, you have a near unlimited numer of ways to achieve it.

Open worlds are not RPGs in a technical sense. By loose RPG terms, ALL games can be RPGs. Yes, even pac-man.

GTA is an example of an open world game that isn't technically an RPG. At least no MORE an RPG than any shooter.

I consider it an RPG with guns... but whatever. Games are getting harder and harder to categorize.

...not really....its got no stats......and no levels. it only has missions, customizable characters and currency.
