besides, I'm pretty sure the terms of use for modding would allow this to happen anyway, no matter how much blizzard wanted to bitch and complain. Since it's simply a custom game, and nothing else.

Re: Starcraft II: Heart of the Swarm
So I've been following the beta, and this is what I've come away with:
Zerg have been nerfed even harder than they were in Wings of Liberty. Ultralisks are back to being as useless as before, now that burrowing charge has been completely removed; Banelings are less useful now that Medivacs are faster and easier to tech to, fungal growth is now a slow projectile that can be dodged, rather than a spell, and has had its range reduced; Swarm Hosts no longer produce ranged units and so are glorified Brood Lords; Vipers have to channel their ability now, allowing them to be focused down before it goes off; Infested Terran no longer receive benefits from damage and armor upgrades.
Meanwhile, Terran have been all manner of buffed. Medivacs have a free ability that lets them outrun Mutalisks, meaning Zerg are basically powerless against drops; Reapers are faster and can be upgraded to be even faster, making them ideal harass units; Widow Mines are no longer expended when they explode, but instead have a cooldown before exploding again; Seeker Missile's range has practically been doubled, and unless you move well out of sight of the Raven while it's channeling the cast, it is not dodge-able anymore; Hellbat's have had their splash radius increased; Terran air and ground vehicles now share upgrades, instead of having separate trees like everyone else.
What looked like a game that promised that maybe, just for a little while, Zerg would be flavor of the month for a little bit, instead of Terran, has instead shaped up to be a game that promises more of the same, but more extreme than before. It could be worse, though. At least they got rid of Warhounds, which hard countered Protoss, and Redline Reactor, a free ability which made Battlecruisers incredibly broken.

Re: Starcraft II: Heart of the Swarm
Ravens missile also does 300 damage along with being non dodgeable for anything short of a ling or anything quicker(which they wouldn't be shooting at anyway) so now the Raven's can one shot Queen's and take an Ultra down to red.
And the reaper on top of being faster ALSO FUCKING HEALS outside of combat meaning early game harass is fucking horrible now against zerg who ALREADY couldn't do shit to them outside of Queens and early game Spines.
But with that extra speed now they can just glide around the Queens and Spines even easier than they were already doing before (which was even then difficult to kill them)
Also along with the Infestor now using a projectile instead of a spell the terran egg only has 70 health instead of the previous 100 health and 2 armor making infestor mostly useless along with every other unit they have.
