Medal of Honor's Campaign was done inhouse, multiplayer by DICE. Looked and played rather differently
For the best, I think. They multiplayer already has too many people camping with the OHK snipers, letting them use the ridiculus lean mechanics would have killed any chance of having fun.

Leaning is good against snipers, just quickly lean out, see what's there, lean back in.

I didn't say it was a bad thing, I just said that with snipers using it it'd be overpwered considering they could move faster and be less exposed with no downside.

I'd actually be fine if the just re-released MW2 without Commando, Lightweight, Marathon and One Man Army, all types of melee attacks, Quick Scoping, grenade launchers, and grenades.

It would be great if they brought back some of the amazing CoD4 maps on release like Pipeline and Overgrown, instead of making us to pay for the DLC to get them.

Also give the player the ability to stop tracking their K/D ratio. I had the highest K/D out of any of my XBL or IRL friends (Which was a big deal considering how obsessed some of the people at my school were) and it put a large pressure on me, I ended up as a slave to my own K/D.

Ontop of all round general polish of coarse.

Pretty much what MW2 should/could have been

EDIT: Almost forgot about a proper spawn system, and for them to patch shit, like the Javlin glitch fairly quickly.

I still really enjoy black ops.

MW2 killstreaks were a bit OP but apart from that I liked that too.

MW2 besides the infamous double shotguns actually had gun balance.

The UMP had the firerate of a dead horse.
The ACR couldn't hipfire worth a damn
Shotguns in the secondary slot was fine, Overkill in the previous two call of duties was never considered overpowered, all they did was build the perk in by default (since nobody used it before)

The only problems i had with that abortion of plastic was unlimited grenade launcher ammo, and commando.

And the only killstreaks i truly disliked was the nuke becuase it justified killstreak camping
Stingers destroyed anything airborne in seconds, and if you ran with a competant team you didn't even need stingers.

No problem with nades, except that frags tend to roll uphill towards players but thats a minor complaint.

All the perks were fine with me (except the two game ruining ones)

first
Commando
people complain about the knife for 2 games in a row and what does IW do, they let people abuse the mechanic to a breaking point
The pro effect i was perfectly fine with (and the only reason i would ever run the perk)
second
OMA (One man Army) (Oh motherf---ing a--hole)
Again people complain about explosives, mainly noob tubes, so lets give players a near limitless supply great idea IW thats exactly what people wanted.

Take those two perks out and i would still be playing the game.

Also note i am not mentioning boosters, frankly i was fine with them in the game, becuase it was priceless to follow them game to game and ruin thier nuke boosting.

The UMP needed to have a nerf of it's range. Without stopping power and silenced it was still three shot kill at it's maximum range.

Most peoples complaints about the ACR was that it was a better sniper than the snipers. Why would you ever need to hip fire this when you could attach a sight on it and sit in your spawn and never have to worry about enemies.

And I sincerly doubt OMA was meant to supply unlimited explosives, but to replace overkill and make it more viable as a perk by giving people the option to completely change classes than just change their weapon. Good idea, very poor execution.

Commando should have never happened, and just add the lunge to the Riot Shield.

Beyond the ARs, the UMP and the AUG (i think) could compete, but those dominated their respective classes. The Snipers weren't as useful as they could have been due to the fact that ARs could still pressure them even at long range, the other SMGs were completely useless, the other LMGs had a nice clip advantage but didn't have the power to make up for it.

Yes, but if MW2 was realistic then snipers would be pretty useless on those maps. And we don't want 2 mile long maps that takes 10 minutes of walking to get into a position where you can be shot by someone you never saw. So instead, we get smaller maps where it only takes 10 seconds to get into a position where you can be shot by someone you never saw.

many battlefield games have problems with hidden snipers. especially when they're camping up a mountain just inside the level limit hitting the spawn points.

Discussion for modern warfare 3 has extended 3 entire pages?

What the fuck is there to talk about?

The action hungry special ops renegades return to shoot people and grab eachother's hands in slow motion while saving the world from storybook villains and some sort of WMD. Also you die a few times and there is a level that exists for the purpose of being controversial.

There.

Each only slightly differing from the last. They make the same game every year with nothing more than new maps, new guns, and some sort of dry fan service.

By "great" do you mean "the same"?

Call of Duty 4 had a great Multiplayer for most of its releases.

CoD 4's Multiplayer system worked, Why mess with it to much when its already drawing in thousands of new players.

The problem with drawing in thousands of new players is a percent of those people will go out of thier way to ruin the game for everyone else.

After that debacle, now with more fingers in the pie, with at least 3 different game studios working on it, it might come out a bit of a mess In my opinion.
