Re: Modern Warfare 3
Half of my wishes for the gaming year died.
The single player is still being made by IW, so maybe the multiplayer has a... slight chance?

Re: Modern Warfare 3
You knew this was happening.
Anyway, the first Modern Warfare was great, and as long as they learn from the mistakes of the second one, they should be fine.

At least it's a good game to rip off.
So all they have to do is blatantly rip off Call of Duty 4, and we're good!

Modern Warfare managed to take the biggest problems with CoD4 and make them 10x worse.Vigil wrote:PiEdude wrote:Vigil wrote:It's a blatant rip of Bioshock.

Hence the sarcasm in that post.
I thought people by now would have realised how much I hate the COD series, especially MW2.

Re: Modern Warfare 3
Every year they take the last game, make minor adjustments to the multiplayer, over dramatic campaign, slap Call of Duty on it and put it on the shelves. Every year people buy it because, after all, it is the new Call of Duty.

Re: Modern Warfare 3
I actually heard a rumor that said this CoD was set as a prequel to MW2.........and I was like ".........Wasn't that........CoD4?'
Tbh, I wouldn't be surprised if IW tried the approach....

Re: Modern Warfare 3
I think if IW wasn't rushed by Activision, the game would have been far better, hopefully with three studios working on this, the load will be lessened.
Or it'll feel like three different games.

Re: Modern Warfare 3
Apparently Sledgehammer, or whatever the new studio they called in to help make it is also making THEIR OWN call of duty title read like the very last paragraph of the link: http://www.pcgamer.com/2011/01/21/call-of-duty-modern-warfare-3-being-developed-by-three-studios-out-november-this-year/

Medal of Honor's Campaign was done inhouse, multiplayer by DICE. Looked and played rather differently

not too different. the campaign had some more fire and maneuver intricacies that wouldn't carry over well to multiplayer. other than that it was fairly similiar.
