My God, I love Yahtzee sometimes. Sure, he hates Portal, but I can forgive him that.

It's good we're entitled to each our own opinions. The guy is funny, but he reviews games much to critically.

Re: Yahtzee Modern Warfare 2
He's a critic that comes off as more of a comedian. I like his reviews, as it points out the obvious flaws, but god damnit he's fucking picky! According to him, 99% (exaggeration) of the games that come out are complete shit. The only games that he reviewed well were Portal (good choice) and Saints Row 2 (another great choice).
If you're really looking for a game to buy, I wouldn't suggest looking at Yahtzee's reviews.

Because being funny is also part of his job description. Some of what he says he obviously doesn't mean that much.
And by the way, he liked Fallout 3, Batman: Arkham Asylum, Bioshock, Dragon Age: Origins, Mario and Lugi: Inside story, Silent Hill 2, Call of Juarez, Infamous and Prototype, House of the Dead: Overkill, Left 4 Dead, Spiderman 2, Prince of Persia: Sands of time, Painkiller, Call of Duty 4 and I coudl go on all day but I made my point.
He does some of the critques for comic effect and even then it is nitpicking, WHICH IS THE ENTIRE BLOODY POINT OF A CRITIC.

Re: Yahtzee Modern Warfare 2
I watched the review again.... he didn't say anything really bad about it. I agree with him on the coop thing, there should be coop in the campaign, not like theres a reason not to other than to piss you off. Right on the campaign being too fucking short but about the part when shepard face fucks you with a .44 magnum I dont know, I kind of liked it (sick fuck eh?). He only really ranted about the "controversial leve" being not controversial, which it wasn't. Probably because IW put the controversial warning in the beginning of the campaign. You don't see Rockstar putting censors everytime you get bored and run around with an RPG and spawning the occasional black hawk.
I don't even want to hear what he has to say about the Multi-player because it won't be good but the reviews wasn't that bad all in all. Should've been my first post.

I seem to recall him making a comment in passing about how he couldn't believe that three hours of gameplay was "the height of game design" or something. Now that I think about it, I think it was a rip off of Yahtzee done by Pure Pwnage. In fact, I'm rewatching it, and I think he was actually upset at Yahtzee. So nvm then.

Re: Yahtzee Modern Warfare 2
I'm a fan of Pure Pwnage, but I definitely had to disagree with him on some points. He makes a fair point that gaming is about playing the game, but that isn't to say that single player games are necessarily inferior to multi player games, nor does story somehow detract from the game. As I recall, Donkey Kong was successful because it gave the shallow story was deeper than anything else out there and gave players a clear motive to achieve a clear set of goals.
