Wikipedia has less inaccuracies than encyclopedia britannica. It's actually the most accurate encyclopedia in existence.

The chances that you'll click on a page that has been vandalized in such a way that you wouldn't recognize it if you didn't know the real information are so dismally slim that I'm surprised academia insists on Wikipedia being an untrustable source.

I said that cause my teacher was on a 20 minute rant about wikipedia being so innaccurate. Thats why I thougt it should be a part of the post.

The biggest problem with Wikipedia is when something is widely accepted but actually incorrect, it is impossible to change it and the ignorance spreads.

I guess that would be problematic, but you have to be an accredited source in order to change certain pages, so the ignorance that would have spread would have done so in any other medium.
