Part III: The Creatures of the night, what sucky things they make.

Vampires. Love or hate them, they seem to be more popular than ever, and I am in the hate category. Right now there are tons of films coming out, TV shows about them, and a ton of books. We all know where this came from: Twilight.

Now I hate Twilight immensely, and all the things it has spawned. Why do I hate it? It seems that some of these female writers see Vampires as creatures to lust for, something that is dark and brooding and deep, which appeals to all the emo girls around the world.

Now, I’d like to clear something up to those writers. While Vampires do like seducing young women, what do you think they do to you? THEY WILL BITE YOU AND SUCK YOU DRY.

Do you guys remember all those great vampire films that came out before Twilight? Bram Stoker’s Dracula, one of my favourite vampire movies of all time, had none of this stupidity.

Sure, Dracula (played by Gary Oldman in one of his more awesome roles) was wooing Winnona Ryder to be his bride, but on top of that, he has loads of slaves to his will. He infects her friend and makes her a vampire. He runs around murdering people to restore his power. He traps Keanu Reeves (doing one of the worst British accents I have ever heard) in his tower in Transylvania to be food for his wenches. The guy is not something that should be idolised as eye candy. He will fuck you up. He makes a guy go insane for Christ’s sake!

Another example is From Dusk Till Dawn. The vampires in that film want only one thing. To feed. They don’t want to all this pussy stuff the more recent vampires do. They are monsters, they want you dead. So it becomes a violent bloodbath and that is fucking awesome.

Going even more modern, the Blade series and 30 days of night, which both show how Vampires SHOULD be done nowadays. The Vampires in both are badass. Again they are assholes. They want you for their own purposes. 30 Days was great at making them scary again (Especially after Twilight seem like a massive bunch of pussies) with them completely ravaging the town and showing no mercy or remorse to the inhabitants.

Going back to Blade, he was one of the most badass Vampires of all time. Sure he’s a good guy, but he brutally murders every vampire he has ever come across. You wouldn’t see Edward Cullen chop somebody in half with a silver katana.

To Conclude, I really want to say to these fucking writers, filmmakers and TV producers. STOP MAKING SHIT ABOUT TWILIGHTESQUE VAMPIRES. I’m getting sick of these whiny, bitching, bad written love stories of these pussy vampires being shoved in my face every five fucking minutes. They’re awful and they complete destroy all my fond memories of when vampires we creatures of the night, that you live in fear off, as they see you as their next meal. I mean they’ve gone from terrifying badasses to pussy love interests to 13 year old girls. It’s a sad end to a horror classic. I have a horrible feeling this bullshit will continue for a long long time.

I hope some people will remember all these good Vampire movies and that will eventually get back to the Vampire’s former status. I can see it now………………………

The most logical explanation of this is that by human error they accidental pressed promote to moderator instead of ban. I was able to delete every thread in the mod section and ban sparrowhawk(it was either him or some other idiot on the site) before they finally figured out what was happening.

It saddens me to see a genre of horror to become pussy bitch's like this. I want to kill the bitch who wrote twilight( Stepheny myers? something like that.)

it wasn't an accident... appearently it was a standby mode that allowed for user/ moderator communication.... I guess because PM's made too much sense?

I know at least Civbase had it done to him... although I think several others did too
