Need to play RA2.
The port for the 360 is crap. They have too many buttons and commands mapped to the bumpers and face buttons at once.
It could really use with a keyboard for it.

I'd kill for these things.CivBase wrote:
Attack Modifiers
The Spartan's main attack should be slightly stronger, but the ability to hijack air vehicles should be removed in exchange.
Miscellaneous
The Spartan’s shield should be removed (even if this is supposedly not an actual shield, it is misleading) and replaced with a slightly large health bar that slowly regenerates when the Spartan is not being attacked.
Things That Aren’t Going To Happen
The Cyclops should be replaced with a squad of Engineer marines.
The Huragok should be replaced with a Drone squad.
A controllable APC unit should be added to the UNSC (Cougar).

That's like saying Star Wars 2: Attack of the Clones is better than Aliens: Resurrection.Vigil wrote:ReconToaster wrote:

A LOT better than Red Alert 3.

Attack of the Clones was better then Resurrection JK.
I still think ES got the controls correct for a console RTS game. RA3's control scheme is not suited for a controller, it makes it very fiddley to do anything.
Both the stories are poor and the units are average.
My point is, control-wise for a COnsole RTS player like myself, I prefer Halo Wars.

That's what I said. Almost nothing I've seen is worse than Resurrection.Vigil wrote:

Halo Wars is to real RTSs as masturbation is to real sex.Vigil wrote:My point is, control-wise for a COnsole RTS player like myself, I prefer Halo Wars.
I hate that analogy, but it's the truth.

Sorry, but I tried for several minutes and couldn't think of a better analogy.

Re: Halo Wars DLC/Update
Halo Wars needs some serious adjustments. When playing on higher level you just encounter the same rushed OVER AND OVER AND OVER again.
It's really repetitive and boring, regardless if you win or lose.

Fixing the crowd control system is a MUST. Seriously that thing is horrible.

Re: Halo Wars DLC/Update
I've actually fallen into the catagory that believes the game would have been way better had it been designed for PC. The game just doesn't offer enough depth as I had hoped it would.

Re: Halo Wars DLC/Update
It's at least the RTS game the console needed. So maybe it'll start a wave of em. and then Firefly can start working on an AOE for the 360.

Would like to see a mod going, although I wouldn't be able to contribute much until this summer.
