Life in future (think about it NAO!!!)

what your plans for future/what you think will happen?

I actually just realized an hour ago that the two main things i want/need to live/die comfortably I might have in the next few months.

-Motorcycle (Kawasaki Ninja)
-Game Tester Job

other cool/fulfilling shit to come later.

what about you guys?

My plan is to not have a plan.

Seriously though, I don't know what I want to do, so I'm just learning as many skills as I'm interested in and I'll see what kind of living I can make with that.

And here's an encouraging thought: even if you fail at life, it doesn't matter. (unless you belong to a religion that places emphasis on works, in which case. . . get your ass out there and save your soul!)

1) Live and die a hero.....(Marine General of US and then becoming President [wich would equal not good for most{refering to Don}])

I found a Kawasaki Ninja ZX6 in my area for $1700. It has 10k less miles than blue book says would be valued at $3300!!!

In theory it's an awsome idea, but my cousing went to colledge like that and now has to stay an extra 2 years because he didn't take the right courses for what he wants to do now.

Man, I would LOVE to be a game tester/designer... but there are far to many going into that. So instead, I think I'm going to go into software engineering. My uncle who works at Iowa State University says that they need more software engineers, so the outlook sounds pretty good. They also get paied more than game designers and have a much more stable job.

Id rather live a man and not die, ergo continuing to be a man.

To be perfectly honest with you, as stupid as it sounds, I care more about space than just about any issue the country is facing. It is the future of our species and I WANT TO BE ALIVE WHEN WE DISCOVER INTERGALACTIC TRAVEL!

For the past 40 years we've done nothing but build a bunch of satellites and probes. We would be much further if the government would actually fund NASA.

The shuttle was originally supposed to be a crew only space plane. It would have taken us to mars ten years ago. Instead, they had to make it into an all around wonder machine that is not particularly good at anything just to get half the amount of money they asked for from the pentagon.

My goal by the time I am 18 is to get at least one mod done and achieve cognition in Bob. Of course, I will not sleep if my zombie preparations are not done by 2012.(obvious reasons)

I also intend on joining the marines when I'm 18/19, then I'm looking to get a degree as a computer software engineer. On top of that, I'm looking at doing some missionary work in Africa/South America. I look forward to see what the future holds in store for me, but I'm probably going to do a LOT more with Bob.

they didn't care anymore, they had bigger problems. and tbh, seeing as we haven't found any habitable planets anyway, the only good that will come from space is technological advances, better communications and orbital weapons stations.

That's not entirely true. Mars has the essentials that we need in one form or another, all we need to do is terraform it and seed it with plants and animals. Judging by what were doing to our own atmosphere, we seem to be pretty good at terraforming already.

i want to be an engineer.

We don't pay for it or send anything out cause we have no proof of anything even out there




I would also love to have space travel as a norm, but it is VERY expensive and there is no proof of anything else out there, so no one will spend billions of dollars on a probable nothing.
