An underground base would be nice, and so would a giant sub-marine. We need an R&D facility (quite possibly under ground, or in a hollowed out mountain[refrence]). Also, multiple buildings, for different divisions of TCF. Like Rot's dev HQ, some biotech firm... ect.
Since a great majority of this Forum is probably made up of Nerds I would rather not be stuck in a closed off tube with what is refereed to as "Nerd B.O"
I can create a generator out of a car engine.
I can make solar panels and hook them up to batteries for storage
I can grow plants in the most efficient way possible
I can create tourniquets out of a shirt or bandanna
I can create indoor plumbing for toilets and showers
I cannot drive a submarine.
Re: The Crimson Headquarters
I don't smell...
Everyone else does.
I'm sure we can find a submarine driver someplace.

Re: The Crimson Headquarters
thats pretty cool tyler.
How much do you actually plan on putting into this? The whole plan would take a while. I guess if you enjoy drafting as much as I do that it wouldn't be a problem, though.

Re: The Crimson Headquarters
Newest Update/ Note: the tent-like structure on top is a photovoltaic-curtain, giving us power and a unique out-door space on the roof. Should this be an element of a compound or a complex? (part of a series of buildings or attached to the larger structure?)
The interior is much more detailed than the outside shots let on, but idk if it's that big a deal to post pictures of it.

Re: The Crimson Headquarters
hmm, I think a compact complex... so kinda compound. my idea has all the buildings tightly put together but also seperate. Connected by hallways, and an internal light rail system(or part of it) if its big enough

And a large room for Thy Lord either on the top over watching everything or centered in the direct middle naturally.

Re: The Crimson Headquarters
we could have a tower in the center of the complex
I think we should also incorporate a small mall and a buffet restaurant

While were on the subject, I would like to say that it would be best to buy undeveloped land in a remote location, say the American prairie, rather than a CITY TEEMING WITH PEOPLE AND RIDICULOUS LAND COST.
Honestly guys? Zombies? Secret plot to take over the world? Limited budget? All around end-of-the-world-survival? Urban environments are the absolute WORST choice for a base such as this.
The design needs to look cool. It needs to have at it's minimum a functional:
-Minion barracks
-Senior underling quarters
-Armory/Bunker
-Tech room/lab
-Outer wall
-Hygiene station
-Royal bedchamber/control room
This is not as demanding as it would at first appear. Many of these rooms could be small and efficient, designed to maximize functionality/space. Plan for about 25 people, and put the barracks in a location where it is easily expandable.
It looks good though.
