I have never done Halloween, and none of my friends do either.
Apparently it is just an American thing.
Some people here do it, but most people don't bother. Although lots of people buy treats and stuff anyway.

I was originally going to be a Soviet soldier (Afghanistan War era; winter specific). However, while I had a legit winter fur cap, pants that could pass as part of an Afghanka uniform, and boots, I lacked an Afghanka winter coat. It's simple, really: tan with four pockets on the front making a sort of square. However, the most important aspect is the fur collar. On eBay, these cost between 30 and 80 dollars, and I didn't have time for that.

So, onward to plan B: a sniper. I have a sniper rifle (airsoft) and an Army uniform, but what was really key was a ghillie suit. I didn't have time to make one, so I went to the Army Surplus store, only to find that the damned things are at least 100 dollars.

So I just bought an army hat, canteen, compass pouch (lost my own), and went as a regular Army soldier. Sadly, they didn't have any sheaths, so I didn't buy a machete, against my better judgment.

Next year, I should have a ghilli suit made, and I think I'll try to go as Gordon Freeman the year after that, when I can grow facial hair quickly and efficiently.

Trick-or-treating with facial hair? Nuff said

Well, an accident while juggling knives the other day has left me a shoo-in for Joker.

Me and my friends are just going to run around and prank people.

Shooting random people with airsoft guns sounds like a very bad idea.

Well, the plan with the airsoft guns is this

2. If they don't take one, we come out of the bushes and order them to drop ALL the candy.
