The Superior Gender
Re: Battle of the Sexes: Who's Superior?
Not me. The doctor used anesthesia.ReconToaster wrote:I think you're being sarcastic....
In defense of men... Women over-react about childbirth. It's a natural occurence, and while I'm sure it hurts like hell... a lot of it is probably emotional.
My sister has had a child, and she claims that it wasn't all that bad. She was not on ANY form of medication. In fact, she had the baby at home.
Anyways, most of the guys here (the American ones at least) have had the wonderful experience of having a functioning part of their genitals sliced off at birth, which I'm sure was, at the time, excruciating.
In any case, circumcision happens at birth, when your memory functions aren't fully developed. You'll forget about it by the time the day is over.
A woman bears a child at an age where she'll be able to remember it for the rest of her life.
She ain't going to forget it. And for a man to feel an equivalent level of pain, he'd have to stretch his scrotum over his head (From behind) and pull his penis up to his chest level.

I disagree. The process of birth is meant to happen. The human body is designed for it. What you illustrated might be the equivelant of how far things expand from their regular states on the female body, but it's not eqiuvalent to the pain which it induces. If you pulled your scrotum over your head, it would rip open. If you pulled your penis up to your chest, it would tear in half.
The female anatomy is DESIGNED to withstand these things. It hurts like hell, I'm sure, but I think it's a tad over-stated. Again, my sister, completely natural birth from a person with ABSOLUTELY NO PAIN TOLERANCE (seriously, she cut her finger once, and she flipped the hell out), experienced moderate pain. Maybe it has something to do with the environment you're in. I'm sure an at-home birth is a lot less... stressful than one at the hospital. There are also hormonal responses during childbirth which are muted in a hospital environment.
Anyways, most women who are really concerned about the pain get on anesthetics, or get an epidural, and afterwards, the memories of such pain is probably muted by the memories of bringing home a baby.

or get kicked in the balls by the 6 yr old girl...
they've proven that testicular trauma is more painful that child birth, partly due to women having more endorphins, it just lasts not quite as long. but the main difference that makes guys worse off is that they can be kicked in the balls practically all the time whether they want to or not. women get to choose child birth.

yeah, I am sure testicular torsion is far more painful then childbirth, it is like a nonstop getting-kicked-in-the-balls feeling.

Re: Battle of the Sexes: Who's Superior?
first of all, who was the genius who came up with that scrotum stretching figure? That's physically impossible, and therefore impossible to guess how much it would hurt so......
Plus, getting kicked in the balls, even with a non-damaging force, still makes 'em tender for a couple days after that. Bottom line, a guy can get more hurtin that a girl. And sure, they might have more pain tolerance because of that, but in the end, I still say that men and women are balanced

Does that mean you're against good ol' fashion birth control?

Depends on what you mean by "Birth Control".
The most effective one is the one I mentioned: Keep your legs closed.
However, I do not have any objections to pre-conception contraceptives.
I take arms against the "Morning-after Pill," Abortion, and a slightly less vehement stand against pre-marital sex.

I meant regular birth control pills taken by women routinely.
The only reason I asked was because you specifically mentioned male birth control.

really? cause last time I checked, men have stronger muscles, but women have denser and better connected brains. Sounds pretty balanced to meAngatar wrote:Then you should really go learn about the human body again.

It takes skill to do that.
THIS, however, could only have been done by a guy:
