Homosexuality

Well this is for the discussion pertaining to homosexuals. Decided to make this after finding out it is a classified mental disorder in Wikipedia. I personally want to hear other peoples opinions on that, because I don't think it is a mental disorder.

Your question asks for my standpoint on homosexuality, while your answers are how homosexual people are. Gays aren't necessarily bad people, I just don't agree with them.

I....don't like them. I mean I believe that they should have rights and all but. Like for example, at one of the gay pride parades that occurred up here, it showed news coverage of the gays wearing these...absurdly disgusting outfits that only women pornstars should be wearing.

If you want to be treated like normal people, THEN FUCKING ACT LIKE NORMAL PEOPLE!!

Do not parade yourselves around with those ridiculous outfits, then whine when people don't respect you.

I believe they should be allowed to do what they want out of the public eye... but when people are overtly gay in public... I want to punch them in the face...

especially ones with the voice that sounds like they leaned to talk by listening to little girls.... which I guess they did...

i do not agree with homosexuality and think that it is a sin but it is no more a sin than being a total jerk so.. put that choice up there

i also dont think they should be able to get married since marriage is a religious thing and homosexuality is not religious at all

is homo-sexual weddings allowed in your state...if not than thats why there paradeing around...they want freedom and all rights...thats how blacks got there rights and thats how women got there's...its people like you that prolong thoses parades that they will edventally win...

"Up here" otherwise known as Canada. I believe the parade took place in Toronto, but it was awhile ago so I may be wrong.

I think its allowed in Canada. Cant remember, and I don't really care for that matter.

and why is the bible changed every few years...with a few rules, sins and other forms of tampering...

back in old times when there waz only one bible, it was revolved around giving money to the king and other religious leaders...

now why would god want money when he is already in the "after life/heaven", or why would he want the king or other religious leaders to have money?

the bible was made so society would be less savage and the crime rate would decrese...now over protective mothers can sleap at night knowing there child is trembling about "sins" and not thinking how to have real fun in life...

Marriage is religious. So long as churches maintain the right to deny homosexuals a marriage, I have no problem with them. I'd rather them creep each other out that creep me out.

Frankly, I doubt anyone in the world is actually gay. The primary reason people turn gay seems to be more for social acceptance, rebellion, and/or attention. Think about it, how many gay kids did your parents go to school with? Your grandparents? If someone was really gay, there'd be as many then as there are now. Problem is, there's not.

o my gosh your perfectly put together argument that has nothing to do with what i said at all just convinced me that there is no afterlife or meaning to life

your logic is flawed there civ... and thats a pretty fucking ignorant thing to say there...


back in grandparents and even parents time, the church was still a big thing... at least a lot bigger than it is now... schools strictly enforced anti gay stuff... it was socially unacceptable to be gay, you would be shunned, have few friends, ext... in the 80's that changed for some reason... and now its socially acceptable to be homosexual. its not that there is more of them, its that they are allowed to show themselves now without fear of descrimination (because whoever discriminates is afraid of the million dollar lawsuit the gay person would bring on them)

As homosexuality has been proven to be caused by hormone imbalances in the womb, the high pitched voice is highly understandable considering that the levels of testosterone in the body during puberty determines the deepness of ones voice (within genetic limitations of course) and considering that some gay guys have pretty much nill testosterone a high pitched voice is practical.

so because they may or may not have experienced real love they are incapable of recognizing that the fact they're attracted to someone of the same gender, they're morons?

i'm talking about the accent... teenage girls talk stressing syllables that aren't stressed in normal English by ANYONE ELSE, including most adult women, and yet this is the accent that a lot of gay men pick up.

I'm afraid that we need a none of the above. I don't not like gay people, I simply disagree with their living style. And while I do believe that gays burn in Hell, I take no pleasure in this thought, nor do I desire for them to do so.

All in all, this poll is generally too black and white. It only allows for support of homosexuality, which I do not, indifference to homosexuality, which I am not, dislike for homosexuals, which I do not, or hatred of homosexuals, which I do not.

You see the shift? It went from how you feel about homosexuality to how you feel about homosexuals.

I believe that gay people should indeed have all the rights that straight people have, no more, no less. Just like Black people, their possible deferences shouldn't be relevant or matter whatsoever unless it is ontopic.

But I hate the Gays that are over the top gay and try act as if they are superior or something.

Although I most of all hate the hardcore serious anti-Gays, this pretty much excuses gay parades. I prefer it that Gays are over the top proud out there, than being oppressed by stupid fucks. hopefully one day Anti-gays will go away and gays wont have to go around showing off that they are gay, and we can all settle down. But there will always be anti-Gays.

In summary, I don't think being gay is a big deal, and it should be like having brown hair, nothing to care about.
