Yeah, I'm officially in media black-out mode for episode 3. I shall not watch any trailers, read any articles, or view any screen shots. Cool

That's a mod called Black Mesa: Source

It's being developed by some mod group and will likely be bought up by Valve and sold through steam.

I looked at it before declaring my media blackout mode. OMGA ITS TEH BoReAlIs!!!

It certainly looks like the formations on the side are not Combine architecture, but rather just glacial ridges. It looks like the combine are either trying to transport the ship, or just build around to harness some sort of power that it possesses.

As for episode 3, I have to wait for the second orange box, which will be ages after the PC release.

The cliffhangar at the end of Episode 2 is slowly driving me insane.

I don't know. As much as Valve is a PC developer, I think they've come upon a pretty enormous fan base on the 360, especially with L4D. I'm not sure how'd they'd release it, or for what price, but I don't think you'll have to wait too much longer.

I still have to beat HalfLife 2.

I've already read the outline of the plot to Half Life 1 on Wikipedia.

*Pukes* Play the first one damn it!

Admittedly, I only played the games last year, but I had the respect for its fans to make sure I played the first one FIRST. The first one really is great. I've been playing a lot of dead space this week, and though it's great... it's NOT scary.

Half-life one legitimately freaked me out.

I can't play the first one.
My comp would explode.

I'm playing the second one on the 360.

Well, I think as L4D was released simulatniously for both formats, there is hope they'll be released close together. The only thing that could slow it down would be the padding which would go around the second orange box. Portal 2 would be one, but what else could they add? Half-life 2 and the other episodes again?

I'd like a console remake of the original, as I've haven't played it.

It came out for the PS1 and (I thimk) the n64, but the console version was very different. You should just buy it for PC. I'm nearly positive your computer will be able to run a 10+ year old game.
