Yes, but I'm still shackled with Games for Windows Live. It's a shit service, and this is why.

i'm using the GFWL and do not and have not had gold for several years and i'm playing it online just fine. Ganked the fuck out of people even.

It's not letting me access my save, though. It was the same with Fallout 3 (until I started using FOSE). The LIVE saves are separate from offline for some reason. Thus, I'm fucked in regards to the character I had.

ah well. It honestly doesn't take too long to get back a character. I had a lvl 50 on my pirated version that I couldn't use on my legit version so I made a new character who I got back up to 50 in only a day or two.

Made a new character and in the first 15 minutes of the game I had a Great Scythe+3 and fucking wrecked shit.


Downloaded a mod that gives priority to summon signs of your friends so you can effectively summon people on your friend list easy as fuck. Played with a buddy and killed 2 or 3 bosses together. WRECKED an asshole who thought it was a good idea to invade me when I have that Great Scythe+3 before I even fight the gargoyles.
