Re: Gaming Wishes for 2011
I took it as a gameplay mechanic, I don't remember Revelatons or Ascenion mentioning overheating.Ringleader wrote:So, it wouldn't sound like anything? Why would it overheat if it was shooting tiny little pellets magnetically?
Or are all the weapons gauss guns? I don't think a magnetically accelerated grain of sand sized pellet would make a whole lot of noise. My point is that the changed the sound from ME1 to ME2, and it wasn't really that great of an alteration.

Why does your laptop overheat if you use it so long?Ringleader wrote:So, it wouldn't sound like anything? Why would it overheat if it was shooting tiny little pellets magnetically?
Firing a 1-grain pellet at hypersonic speeds (say, mach 10) yields kinetic energy of 9.72388643 × 10^9 kilojoules. Assuming 99.99% efficiency, you will still have around a hundred thousand joules dumped into your weapon for each pellet fired.

Just give me a trailer and a release date, something and that will make me happy.

Battlefield 3 to not be watered down like BC2, and to actually include mod tools and decent player caps (64+ would be good, hardware has advanced since BC2)
Red Orchestra: Heroes of Stalingrad to be released before the end of the year.

Re: Gaming Wishes for 2011
Transformers game was a great game. Good enough for a sequal. I only wish more people would play it, I would still play it now if they did. Same with AvP. But people are too afraid to stray away from their Halo's, CoD's and Battefields.
Anyways, I simply wish that the games andsystem coming this year are just worth it. Mostly I hope the 3DS is worth it and has a price tag under $300. $250 sounds bout right to me.

Are really half of those things worth more than a dollar, regardless if I ever wanted to buy them or not? Not really.

Because I'm sure it concerns others, and the price range is basically why I don't concern myself. just something I think is pretty dumb and something to change
