Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Werewolves don't get the well rested bonus which means grinding is more tedious. You also run the risk of trying to transform in front of an NPC and then they immediately tell the guards (since they are freaking psychic like always (Even if you are escorting said npc and killing them to clear your bounty will fail the quest)
Also Hircine's ring lets you transform into a werewolf at will an unlimited number of times per day, there's no reason to stay a werewolf once you have it. Vampirism combined with the run is overpowered beyond all hell. (I haven't gotten around to actually trying it yet but it damn well looks OP

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Anyone know how I could bring someone in Skyrim back to life w/ Console commands?
*Note: I don't often play PC games and barely know what Console commands are*

Infinite, to my knowledge. Even if you do somehow manage to kill them, you can always spawn another one of those NPCs.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
open up the console then click on the corpse so it displays the NPC's code. Then type in resurrect.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Was anyone else kind of sad that you couldn't join the Forsworn?
I was playing as a Breton, and I tended to kill Stormcloaks whenever I saw them, and Forsworn are generally cool, not to mention having an at least somewhat justified cause.
Yes, I know "no one escapes from whatever place mine" exists, but that's not much.
Regardless though, The Reach was the best Hold.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
I've about 6 times as much time in the whiterun hold than anywhere else, whether hunting animals or bartering...
I think I spent my first couple days playing, just behaving like a ranger and using my bow to kill elk.

Spent a lot of time in Whiterun.
Migrated to Solitude because Proudspire Manor is the best house in the game.

I blow all my money on grand soul gems cause I'm too lazy to go harvest them and using Black Star involves too many loading screens, so I never get enough cash to buy that house XD

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
after I beat the main story I allowed myself to use the more exploitatious means of playing, so I use the dawnstar underground chest to give me soul gems so i don't have to buy them

Well I'm a Breton and I killed some random thugs in a mine for an orc's boss, so I get let into strongholds too. Choosing a race for the strongholds isn't really interesting.
Never regret being Breton. Bretons are master race.KristallNacht wrote:im bretin, but i should have been an elf
