Yep, seeing that, they just seemed to copy the RE5 cutscenes and added Mila Jovovich.

The T-Virus can do anything remember. It can turn people to Zombies, monsters, make bad former models into superhuman, telekinetic, pyrokinetic warrior and turn the earth into a desert. They probably make a new bullshit reason.

Maybe the one weilding the weapon could've been infected with the Las Plagas virus/parasite? I mean, we definately saw a "zombie" with the Las Plagas parasite in it. It's a possibility.

Exaggerating? So Wesker throws his glasses at the camera, a Exceutioner Las Plagas with a massive axe attacks a Redfield (Yes I know it's Claire, still counts.) And the fact Wesker is almost identical to what he looked like in RE5 and had all the same thing going on. Oh and Mila Jumping around slashing people and kicking people. You failure to understand Bioshock is outstanding. ADAM gave them special abilities, like Pyrokinesis and the ability to shoot bees, THEY ARE NOT ZOMBIES, they were driven insane by the civil war and the ADAM was used so extensively it warped and corrputed their bodies and minds.

I know about viruses and what they can do, and I can assure you while a retrovirus CAN add itself to DNA and ergo effect a Subject (I.E Zombism and special abilites.) What it can't do is CHANGE THE ENTIRE ECOSYSTEM OF AN ENTIRE FUCKING PLANET FROM A DESERT AND BACK.

It's obvious they just saw RE4 + 5 , saw they were popular and said 'Let's put them in with some really crappy plot exposition to justify there appearance.' And oh if you think for one second they'll call it 'Las Plagas' you probably going in for a real shock.

? The first movie didn't have badly exaggerated action, nor did the second (that much). Unfortunately, the third did somewhat... We'll see how it all fit's in. I'd rather not assume the worst just from a trailer.

They aren't really zombies, no, but they might as well be. They behave just like them (minus some of the social interaction really...), once they reach a certain point in the addiction that is.

Okay, that's just dumb. There are many numbers of things that could of changed the enviorment, and back.

• The previos movie already said that it was moving to japan was it? So maybe Japan isn't as badly affected by the global environment change. Which I think is not caused by the T-virus directly, but rather events it caused indirectly.
  
• I just looked at the resident evil wikia, and it says the movie was entirely set in the Mojave desert, and other deserted areas. Meaning that the entire world could still be the same, they just so happened to be in a desert...

I wouldn't be suprised if they don't call it Las Plagas, the movies I think are seperate in canon from the games. How would you know it has a crappy plot yet?! Unless you used your magical time traveling skills to see the movie, I don't think you know how good it is yet.

The only inhabitant of Rapture that comes close is a Big Daddy as their big mindless husk that follow a very slow routine of behaviour. Normal Splicers remember their former lives, work together, can shoot firearms and use plasmids, can set traps ,can still make logical descions. (Whether to attack you or not, joining Atlas and Lamb etc.)

Listen from 7.00 to 7.30. She clearly says it was the Virus' fault and it spread everywhere, and the entire world is a desert, as evident by the image of the world they show when describing it.

I expect the worse. The original had a shaky but serviceable plot. Apocolpyse was fuck awful, and Extinction was even worse and made little to no fucking sense. I expect four to be following the law of diminshing sequels and this one will be even worse than the last one.

As for the casting, it's hardly ideal, but Mr Anderson has a great talent for getting acting who completely fail at their job. So here's another example. At least Wentworth Miller Has SOME acting ability as Prison Break showed, but to put this in perspective, Jill Valentine was in Apocolypse.

How much screen time did she get? About 20 minutes and the entire movie she played second fiddle to Alice and at the end of the movie she is alive, but isn't seen in the sequel. I'm pretty sure Chris will be shoved to the sidelines.
