Halo 3: ODST - Firefight

Well, you can look at the condition the helmet is in, remember who wore it, and who first saw the engineer. I see it as a pretty big spoiler.

There's a lot of explanation's for him having it. Maybe he simply found it after a firefight. Maybe this and maybe that. Unless it clearly shows what happened then no, it spoils nothing.

Oh please, every image we see is a spoiler. If you walk into a thread for a game that's not out yet, expect spoilers.

I don't consider something to be worth of a spoiler tag unless it has to do with something that people don't want to hear about until they experience it themselves (like the end of a story, or a major plot twist).

This is about firefight, not the campaign, so anything campaign should go into one of the other 20 ODST threads.

However, five of those six are about videos, so there's only one other thread where it would fit. BUT, it has been confirmed that engineers will be enemies, so it is likely that they will be in firefight. SO... this fits.

How the hell can engineers be enemies? The only way I can see this working is if they pull a Contact Harvest and make the engineers pick up and throw rocks at you.

The Engineers are enemies in firefight. They give surrounding Covenant troops exta shield's.

they give everything and I mean EVERYTHING that is covenant oversheilds, its quite discouraging to imagine drones with oversheilds. they're annoying without them, just imagine them being 2-3 times tougher.

Indeed. Imagine a Hunter with Overshields.......

That's not going to be easy.

i don't know about you... but i'm more afraid of groups of grunts with overshields than hunters

Jackals with extra sheilding.

Swarms of grunts with extra sheilding.

Drones with sheilding are probably the worst if you suck at shooting at stuff flying around like a fuck.

dang, everyone would have to be shooting at the hunter with rocket launchers in the back.

I think its official, engineers will be the most feared enemy in firefight.

You can shoot over a phalanx. HOWEVER, you cant shoot over a testudo.....

well as long as you have a Plasma pistol and a carbine or pistol you'll be okay. Apparently the best way to kill the engineers (from game videos) is to shoot them with the plasma pistol then shoot them in their blue camera eye thingy. So as long as you got that u should be good I assume.

I only use grenades against washing machines


I prefer the use of a rifle to kill flies.

Focus fire on the engineers, then deal with the other Covenant Forces.
