I'm not very good at the game but I've still won all of my games. Thats a grand total of two wins

i found gold league to be easier than bronze, for the fact that in gold few people try risky strategies.
and risky strategies are the hardest to counter, unless you're ready for it

Risky strategies are easy to counter, you just have to scout and counter it.

Re: StarCraft 2
yeah, knowing what the enemy is doing is vital for survival. Anything risky normally has a big flaw or two that can cause the whole plan to fall apart, but if the flaws are not exposed and attacked then the risk will probably pay off

Re: StarCraft 2
Attention anyone who JUST got this game If you havent already, go to your Documents/Starcraft 2/Variables (it'll be a TXT file at the bottom) and enter in the following two lines of code:
frameratecap=60
frameratecapGlue=30
This will prevent an overheating bug that can and will fry your system.

Re: StarCraft 2
Scout? I play Zerg, so even later in the game i can see pretty much everything. Early in the game, if he doesn't have a gate/barracks, get some early lings out and search for proxies. Creep prevents cannon rushes, and i can normally stomp on early rushes just by pulling my drones and protecting my queen (if it is late).KristallNacht wrote:i found gold league to be easier than bronze, for the fact that in gold few people try risky strategies.

Re: StarCraft 2
Drones are definitely the most effective workers in terms of strength. But as a Zerg, I think "rush rush rush rush" for the first five minutes. If toss have a gateway up, then I pull back and go for roaches.

Re: StarCraft 2
I normally go for a 14 hatch or an 11pool 18hatch. If they seem to be going for a quick army, i'll delay my hatchery, but if they wait til they scout it i can just quickly put up a bunch of lings and a spine crawler.Nocbl2 wrote:Drones are definitely the most effective workers in terms of strength. Don't forget, as Zerg, expansions have a double benefit. You have more resources and you can produce more units quickly.

Drones are the weakest workers.
All workers have the same damage, move speed andattack speed, but anyone who knows how to use a mouse can make probes nearly invincible due to the fast regen on their shields, and scvs have 5 more hp and can repair eachother

Re: StarCraft 2
Except Drones can regenerate mid-battle. They win straight up fights against probes and can win fights against SCVs if they take their time.Elabajaba wrote:Nocbl2 wrote:Drones are definitely the most effective workers in terms of strength. Re: StarCraft 2
Yeah. I think an unmircro'd drone vs an scv will win because of the health regen.
We really need to reboot the ID thread.

I think that if your GPU gets too hot then yeah it might close SC2 on you. Also it permanently damages your system.
