Re: Brink
Yeah, I just wish that it was something else besides Doom. Or at least other stuff besides just all Doom.
I mean I like Doom as much as the next guy but still...would have been nice.
I pre-ordered anyways.

Oh there is more then one?
I had no idea. Link Please?
EDIT: Nvm, looked it up. Damn it, I hate when they do this. Make preorders for other stores exclusive. I would have gone for the Psycho Pack.

Re: Brink
Very true, but still is annoying when the content you would rather have is exclusive to another retailer.

GS is the best deal for me money wise with games so even if I did know it wouldn't really have mattered. lolKristallNacht wrote:

Re: Brink
Seems a bit Tf 2 like... not saying that's bad, but originality is lacking with the whole deployable turrets and disguises and command posts... I think it would be better if they had just one.

Re: Brink
not every class based shooter is a tf2 ripoff
and it makes serious add-ons with the SMART system and having different objectives for different players.
and the disguise feature is much more tactical than in tf2 and killzone.
anyway, Splash Damage has made multiple class based shooters in the past. wouldn't it be more practical to compare brink to those than to something that is fairly different?

Yeah, trade-ins, special deals, discounts because I've been a member for so long...stuff like that.KristallNacht wrote:how...it costs the same no matter where you buy it (unless you're always doing trade ins)
This time I got $20 off of it for trade-ins combined with an in store deal and a discount because of my Edge Card.

Edge cards don't give you a discount on new stuff. No matter how long you've had it.

Re: Brink
The card gives you extra credit on trade-ins, plus I had a extra discount saved for doing something on the website for the card a while ago. The discount itself said, "Thanks for being a member with us for so long, here is X% off of a new game".KristallNacht wrote:Edge cards don't give you a discount on new stuff. It wasn't because of the card itself no, I just meant that it was stored on the card. Or at least that's how they knew I had it at all.

I mean, especially since they gave MW2's/Black Ops gameplay and shit a high rating.
