New Halo 3: ODST footage.

The Halo franchise is being turned into another "Pokemon style" franchise.

Almost the exact same thing in every game, just with a few new features and new skins added for each new game.

At least, that's the impression I'm being given.

It will have been. Almost certainly.

Although the Halo 3 at E3 was on Heroic and after they got slaughtered they bumped it down to Normal.

I'll reserve judgement until I play it myself, but I have a hunch I won't have that many problems on my legendary playthrough.

eh, if you want true difficulty out of a Halo game, play the entire thing on easy, then play it again on legendary.

Halo legendary is easy if you never play it on a lower difficulty. If you do, and later move up to legendary, its fucking crazy.

People, the full Halo: CE pistol isn't coming back.

Dual wielding plus plasma pistols plus heavy handguns. Think about it. It would be the Halo 2 noob combo, except worse.

Also, the medipack is coming back. Will make this a lot different from the Spartan brand of Runnin' and Gunnin'.

But, it looked like regenerating health again.

Not to mention the guy survived a Brute leaping on him.

God mode, nothing more.

Also, the armor in Halo has always been regenerative since Halo 2.

True, but I did like the regenerating shield bar, but depleteable health bar of Halo CE.

I like it lore and tech-wise, but not quite gameplay-wise.
Halo: CE was the best. But I always imagined that ODST armor would be similar in gameplay function to the environment suit of Half Life (Original).

Most developers turn on God mode to show off their game, as it would be annoying if they kept dying during the presentation.

So that's what the dev command "cheat_omnipotent 1" is in Halo CE!

More like hoard mode. Nazi Zombies are all the same zombie running at you, this involves many different enemies, possibly even vehicles.

Vehicles would be amazing. Hard if they come at you though. Those three Wraiths on the highway were tough.

They do have vehicles in Firefight. I saw some wraiths being deployed in one of the waves.
