Nothing short of awesome.
If I may ask, what is the red line in the second .gif for? And how many frames per second are in the first?

Re: Mr.Inferior of the two Admins's Animations
both are 24 frames a second, and the red line is because the character test I was originally going to do was a walk, but I drew his head too big so I just did that instead, haha

Hmm... seems a little choppy for 24 frames per second.KrAzY wrote:both are 24 frames a second, and the red line is because the character test I was originally going to do was a walk, but I drew his head too big so I just did that instead, haha
Did you double frames up, or are there 24 unique frames in a second?

I was thinking the same thing. Which is a shame because The frames themselves look amazing, at least in my non-professional opinion.
EDIT: I just tried to watch my own video (which is mostly 36 Fps) on this same computer (the one in the local library) and It looked just as choppy, so my problem is problebly on my end...
EDIT: Look at it on a better computer, it was definitely the library computer just being slow.

Re: Mr.Inferior of the two Admins's Animations
its likely problems on your end and the fact that it is in .gif form as opposed to a video, its not choppy on either of the computers i've viewed it on
to answer your question Rasq, some of it is on ones, which means each drawing is exposed for 1 frame, and some of it is on 2s, which means you hold the drawing one frame. most animation is done on 2s, unless you are a crazy mo-fo like Richard Williams, who did his film on 1s at 48 FPS (the Thief and the Cobbler) took him 28 years to make it.

And yeah, I know about 'The Thief and the Cobbler'. It's one of the reasons why I asked. Forgot that it was animated at 48 FPS (I mean, THAT'S dedication) but I was reading up on it on TVTropes a while back, then Wikipedia, and then hunted down some short segments on Youtube. I'm still amazed by it.

*squints*
Hard to tell, but did you use frame #11 out of order, or twice?

KrAzY's Animations
no, I just stopped numbering once the water reached the peak of the splash and some parts are on 1's so the afterimage stays in your mind as the numbers disappear.
some parts of the gif are jumpy, but thats because it is a gif and not a video

I went through 40 pages of the Everyday Art thread and selected 8 pages of comments on an individual basis on the criteria that they had something to do with KrAzY's art to make this thread.

Re: Mr.Inferior of the two Admins's Animations
I just thought you should know that taking down Digital Gambit's site has not made me forget your promise. I calculated what a week on your world is, and saved the date. There had better be new Digital Gambit comics on 12 January 2038 like you promised!
