Are you referring to this:

Divine Virus wrote:

I'm with ya brother!

I finnished the Campaign like maybe an hour or so ago, and I was enjoying it so much that when I was done I was like:

"Oh man, that was awesome...wait, I still have Matchmaking, FireFight AND Forge!" affraid

Talk about getting your moneys worth. Well, at least for me personally.

Where he mentions one feature that the games share?

Or was there another one? If there was, it wasn't three posts ago. Neither was the one I quoted.

Are you a fan of Halo and it's gameplay?

Yes? Then buy it.

In the end though, utterly your decision.

It was implied.

I also said, "utterly your decision".

Meaning don't let anything that I say be your deciding factor.

But I want you to persuade me to buy it!! I am tremendously weak willed when it comes to buying games.

Or I would be, only my xbox is red ringed and I'll probably just wait to play a friends anyway Razz

Well, finished the campaign. I really did enjoy it, but I rather not go into details (especially about certain things) now.

The way I look at it is that there has officially been a schism between book canon and game canon with reach.

Overall though reach had a great story and I enjoyed the plot twist

So, now that the game is out, am I allowed to complain that Bungie took a giant steaming shit on book canon, Nylund, and anyone at all concerned with continuity within the series?[/sarcasm]

I'm still waiting on my friend to return my Xbox360, or at the very least, my texts, before I even consider renting Halo: Reach. In the mean time, I'll try to take a look at what exactly it fucks up. For now, I'm assuming it was most of the stuff I predicted plus some other stuff that not even the optimists can write off.

the story is fucked in relation to the books... but I can honestly say if I hadn't read the book, then the story of halo reach would have been fine with me.

I am treating this like halo wars, a separate Halo universe from the books....but unlike halo wars I am looking at this one in a good way to preserve what is good about both of them

If I hadn't read the books, Halo Legends and Halo Wars were perfectly canonical too. I jus don't understand why Bungie had to take the Microsoft route and fuck with canon.

well as a heads up, Nylund help write Reach, so im assuming this is Bungie/Nylunds way of causing mass Damege to 343's ability to work with Canon
