Haiti mission trip
As most of you are not aware, I just returned from a 7 day mission trip to Jacmel, Haiti. Most missionaries come back and tell everyone how grateful it made them for what they have, but for me it did just the opposite. It showed me that we really don't need all of the stuff, people there could be happy and friendly without it. While it may seem hard for you to believe that my perspective of life has been changed by a single trip, I assure it only took 15 minutes into the drive through Port Au Prince to do it.
While pictures could never give do justice to the situation, I do have plenty.

Keep an eye out for me.

You look like you're about to pounce on the girl in the pink.
But, how and where did you sign up for a trip to Haita? I'm sure your parents paid for it.

I went through Calvary Chapel Ft. Lauderdale, the church that my sister goes to. We've both wanted to go to Haiti for a while now so when she told me her church was going I signed up.
And no, actually. I raised the money with the help of my community and friends.

Re: Haiti mission trip
Might as well join ur convo here... But that's awesome of you to take time to help the people of Haiti. I'm sure in your prospective you now take life for granted. As we all should. The American society is strong in a way by the things we do and the things we buy is apart of us all. That is how we live. But in Haiti, they don't even have the basic needs. And we're their neighbor. It's nice to see people like Dud to help people out there in time fo need. I greatly respect you for that. But I, myself wouldn't have done something like that. As much I would like to. But I helped by donating money and sent school supplies. But none of that is more honorable than being there yourself to help them out. As it is said in the Quran, "To save life, is to save all of mankind". And that is what you have just done. Great job bro!
