energy doesn't run out, it gets transformed into other forms of energy...
lets take this... a battery has chemical energy, which is then converted into electricity, and then into mechanical energy... which is released as movement, heat, or light

Ah yes, the entropy doomsday theory. The concept is that eventually the energy in the universe will be spread out infinitely thin so that no one area has enough to survive.
