Some of them will. But there are three that are messed up. I can forgive one of the three because it's a spoof, but the other two are not spoofs.

I mainly just don't like the script for Krystal Skull. It's the same reason why I don't really like The Temple of Doom all that much. I like The Last Crusade because, along with being a GREAT movie, it's based on Christian mythology. Although I (obviously) don't really believe in the artifacts in the movies, they are embedded in our culture, and they are some what historical... so they seem more down to Earth. Magic stones and Ancient aliens don't seem to down to Earth. They have much more of a fantasy-type feeling to them.

Plus, Nazis are much more 'evil.' The darned communists getting a hold of some powerful artifact just doesn't seem... frightening. It seemed a bit forced.

I do, however, blame Spielberg for the over-use of CGI.

The two before The Last Crusade refer to Judaism and Islam.

There are few people I hate more than George Lucas. He is a money-grubber, pure and simple. Whatever talent he had for writing and directing, he sacrificed along with his soul to get money. He is that rare combination of potential, incompetence, pig-headedness, and greed that comes along once in a thousand years.

He is the most pathetic human being I have ever heard of, and I shall not shed a tear when that Yuuzan Vong Symbiote that is posing as his wattle sacrifices itself for the Good of all Sentient Beings, and throttles him.

Indeed, I have often dreamed of destroying whatever bit of soul he has left by getting that crystal skull prop, smashing it with a hammer, and shipping the little shards to him. And when that's just starting to sink in, I'm going to melt down the lightsaber prop used by Luke Skywalker in the first three movies, and cast it into a little Howard the Duck figurine.

After that's done, he should be in the hospital, with his heart mostly given out. That will be the time when I'll transfer the doctors to other patients, lock his room, and constantly play "The Star Wars Christmas Special" on his TV. With him tied to the bed so he can't move or look away. And I'll give him caffiene through an IV drip, so he can't faint or fall asleep.

Aside from the Nazi getting his face melted off, and the pretty girl, I think 'Raiders of the Lost Ark' is kinda slow, and it doesn't really amount to much. I do love the reference to the Ark in The Last Crusade.

Well it's a step up from Neil 'I couldn't give a shit about Halo' Blomkamp.

George Lucas destroyed his own legacy. Though to be honest I think it ws staring in Return of the Jedi with the Fucking Ewoks. The Prequels are god awful. I could rant about how bad they are for hours, same with Crystal Skull.

I don't Speilberg, as even when he makes a bad film, it is at least passable, as War of the Worlds was not that bad (Except the fucking retarded ending.) I liked Minority Report.

I still think Peter Jackson should do it, because of the amount of time and effort he's already put in the project.

What's with the hating on War of the World? I thought that was an awesome film if you ignored the horrifically good luck of Mr Cruise.

And if you want to complain about the ending, Vigil, direct it toward H G Wells. Unless you're talking about the way the entire suburb was fine... that was dumb.

Or the way the one house was fine in amongst the millions of tonnes of rubble.

But yeah I liked it. The original was also good; if a little outdated.

If the movie is anything like SPR it will be epic, if its like the halo landfall movies it will still be epic

It thought the film was okay.

I had no problem with how the Aliens died, that was genius when Mr Wells wrote it and it still is. What pissed me off that the entire suburb was perfectly fine, and the mother and her entire family was fine. It was very stupid, espically as we saw so many people died, and our cities in ruins.


I still like the original 50's version.

My favorite thing to rant about is how Lucas is singularly unable to kill off the bad guys in an epic way in the Prequels. Darth Maul had two full seconds to slice Obi-Wan in half when he was somersaulting over his head (And he was the most epic bad-guy in the prequels). Count Doodoo is killed off before you can even say "Plot Hole" (While Obi-Wan is sleeping, no less!) and General Grievous... no explanation needed.

Lucas's editorializing (Emperor Palpatine Bush) ruined the last two prequels. Anakin Skywalker ruined all three (A scarecrow could have acted better than the actors they had for him)

And then there's the Royal Queen Mother of all Plot Hole Bombs, which Star Wars fans have collectively shunned from their consciousness:

In any case, I disliked the Minority Report because it deviated a little too much from the core of the original Phillip K. Dick short story.

how is any of that plot holes( to star wars) also i like star wars for the interesting universe not they cliched ridden plot
although the rise to power and death o the jedi through the droids was interesting

Uhh, the Halo movie is a waste of time IMO.

Move on to something good.

The Halo Movie will do well in sells and revenue but will actually be quite boring, like transformers.
