I play most games on me 360.
But i do like RTS Games on the computer.

RTS = Computer
FPS, TPS, and all other shit that's not rts... = Console
And don't come dragging with "mouse gives better control in fps"

FPS is better on the PC, not the console, and RPG, MMOFPS, MMORPG are very good on PC.

I like the FPS feel on the Console better. Yes, I've played games without the auto-aim and it's harder, but they're not that bad. I have more games for the console, but I still like computer games.

Well it does... if it wasn't true, every console shooter wouldn't need aim assist. PC is definitely better for all first person games, as well as rts's and... ugh... MMOs.

Console is better for platformers, arcade titles, family games, and it's great for third person games.

I find it you get a lot more engaged in a FPS if its on the console and not the computer. I find FPS on PC's are just plain boring. I only use PC's for RTS and MMO's.

actually i find it quite annoying.
All the time in Halo 3 i find myself missing headshots cause some idiot jumps in front of me.

Then fire BEFORE the dude gets infront of you...

What's auto aim? Like the targeting reticle?

No. Auto-aim is a setting that makes your reticle follow your target briefly, or makes your bullets 'bend' to hit the target.

Well I turn that off on most games that allow it. Consoles have better FPS graphics and I think playing a game on a big tv w/ sound system beats the hell out of playing on a monitor.

I play on both PC and console. I mainly do RTS games, MMO's and RPG games with a few FPS games for the PC, and do FPS TPS and squad based games for the console.

No. Not auto aim. Aim assist. Aim assist is in just about every multiplayer shooter on console, and you normally can't turn it off. It's put into the game to comensate for the poor precision that a joystick offers.

As for graphics... you're an idiot. That is the one thing that PCs ABSOLUTELY, without a dobt, beat console on. nearly every game looks MUCH better on an 800 dollar PC than it does on a console, as it should. Games can be scaled up MUCH higher on their PC versions.

I prefer sitting infront of a monitor, with sorround sound headphones on, but that's just what I said... preference. Still, if you really wanted to, you could hook your computer up to your Television, using it as a second monitor.

Surround sound is CERTAINLY not a console specific experience.

How is it that shooters on PC are boring? If you mean that you haven't had a great time with PC-exclusive shooters, fine, but most PC FPS games are the same FPS games you play on your console, except that you get better control, better graphics, and a better online experience.

You can also multitask, which is great when it comes to RTSs and MMOs.

Anyways, I get more engadged when playing on the PC, mainly because I'm closer to the screen, and more... focused on it. I've never been more immersed in a game than when I was playing the original half life for the first time, and Gman kept scaring the shit outta me!
