Not entirely true. Most are surprised to find how well it is as far as an RTS goes, sure, but as far as being a Halo game goes, ES fucked up pretty bad, that much is clear.

That's what I meant. I know darn well that most of you are pretty pissed at ES for screwing up canon but personally I don't really care that much. Im just gonna leave the story telling to the books and FPS games.

I thought it would probably be an alright game and have always said it would be an okay RTS, but the cannon/story would be shit.

Which is why ES should include their community (us) in the credits of the game.

I doubt it. You guys are thinking to highly of yourselves. The "suggestions" thread was really more of just their way of making us THINK that we had some kind of input. The fact that there are ODSTs in the game does not mean that they got the idea from your "Teh aw3som3 0DSTs should b3 in teh gam3" thread.

I honestly doubt that they actually listened to the community, anything that may coincide with what they put in the game probably is purely coincidential.

Well, of course it would be balanced. I always held that it would be balanced, and maybe fun.

But hey, so was Stronghold Crusader. Not a great RTS by any standard.
