I have heard from alot of People that Warhammer Online pwns the shit out of other MMO's so I think I may actually get it...

Besides, ive already played a bunch of other Warhammer games, I like the setting. Guns, swords, death, killing, its basically WH:40K, without the 40K

If I had the money I'd get it.

chances are after the holiday season i'm gonna get back into EVE (haven't renewed my sub sicne the first 2 months) but if this is better....

war hammer graphics > WOW graphics

war hammer lag > WOW lag

in other words the war hammer lag will be grater because of the graphics

but i like WOW and war hammer is too gothic for me

soon war hammer will be milked for all it has until blood starts bleeding from its udder

Actually, according to reviews from MANY sites and magazines, the game manages to run smoothly at all times. They report almost no lag whatsoever, and thats with servers full.

According to the reviews it also provides the best Realm vs. Realm experience through battlezones, missions and lastly throught he capture of enemy cities and territory. I believe, if I read everything correctly, that the game is in fact winnable by one side.


Everyone knows that Warcraft is a copy of Warhammer, just like Starcraft is a(near) copy of Warhamer 40K.
At least Starcraft turned out to be a good game.

lol, an MMO is winnable? My guess is that if it ever gets close to that the people who run the game will throw in every twist in the book to stop them.

Warcraft is very close to being a copy of Warhammer in so many ways its not even funny.

Starcraft itself borrows alot of ideas from WH:40K




And yes, I think they said it is winnable just like how chromehounds is, the server resets the game world upon victory I guess.

If one faction cant defeat another, there is no real point to having cities capturable

Warcraft is Bull shit. Warhammer>Warcraft. And Bilco, it does take many ideas from warhammer. They just didnt make it good. Warhammer is not being milked. IF anything, blizzard is trying to get EVERY penny they can possibly get out of WOW. If you want a major milking, it has to be WOW.

The start-up is like 100

although it is cheaper than WoW monthly

which ultimately means its cheaper in the long run

Warcraft alone borrows so much stuff fron Warhammer its not funny... The alliances, weapons, factions... so similar in so many ways.

Starcraft borrows alot fo stuf from 40K
I.E.
Zerg are copies of Tyranids
Protoss are basically Eldar with a different skin
The terrans are at least somewhat original in it.

warcraft is not a copy

in fact to be honest warhammer is the copy

long ago in a time where computers were primitive blizzard and games workshop lived in peace

they had a deal to make a game with each other

ideas were shared from both sides

then games workshop said no and the game was stopped

the two companies went separate ways

then blizzard released warcraft

then soon war hammer came out

there for it is not a copy but a split game

and they all lived happily ever after

Yes. It was. Sorry bilco Warhammer came first. Blizzard is about 6 years younger than GW.
