It's fun, free, (doesn't contain viruses) made-by-bungie, FPS, kinda bad graphics, online multiplayer with people that are sometimes on, sometimes not...

and...

*thinks we should start a clan for it, but doesn't think anyone's interested...*

ONE:::INSTILLATION

Go here http://source.bungie.org/get/

Follow the instructions there.

(If you don’t feel like doing that, follow mine, but mine will just confuse you)

Download Aleph One (the middle row) for your operating system.
Download Infinity (the top-right)

Now they should be wherever your DLs go.

THIS PART IS APPERENTLY HARD (I’ve heard reports)

Go into the Aleph One folder/drive/whatever that you downloaded.

Take the green circular marathon symbol called “Aleph One” and NOTHING ELSE
And put that into the Marathon Infinity folder.

It’s your application.

Installation = Done… gratz.

TWO:::SETUP

Now start aleph one (the thing u put in the infinity folder)

Go into preferences.

Adjust your settings how you like them. (If you’re going to use a mouse to aim, turn the sensitivity down)

Now you can play if you want.

THREE:::OPTIONAL

To get a gamertag/screen-name/thing…

Go here http://www.mariusnet.com/

Register yourself as what u want to be called.

Activate your account or whatever you have to do.

THEN

Go back into the game itself, go into preferences > player

There should be something about a log-in

Log in with name and password from mariusnet.

UR DONE!!!!

NOW PLAY MARATHON!!! (by clicking join network game, and hoping someone is online… or by clicking start new game, and kicking phfore ass)

FOUR:::ALSO OPTIONAL

Lot’s of multiplayer maps and a few solo ones as well.

Anything u DL from there u have to put in the marathon folder.
