I'm Bored as Hell so here it Goes

Hello All!

It is I, Mr. Bacon, Baconsen or whatever the fuck I thought was cool to call myself in my early days of high school and it stuck (regrettably?).

Regardless, I am bored today. In fact I am so bored that I came back to this site to post. Post about what you may ask? About politics? About my life? About the SECRET OF LIFE?! Uh... its the second one, I talk about politics enough and the third one is too easy of a conversation (you just put cheese on it duh).

So I know you must all be on the edge of your seats, palms sweating as you read this line of text, suddenly in the voice of morgan freeman and now in the voice that guy you swear you're not in love with cause youre straight (clearly), but man if you're both drunk and he suddenly makes a move you might consider it. Especially if he is wearing that tight blue button down he likes to wear. Reaching back around to the main point of my post (lol), MY LIFE

So when was the last time I seriously was active at this site? Before college, jesus christ. Okay that was almost 6 years ago. WHELP HERE WE GO.

I went to college for Electrical and Computer Engineering and graduated the same major! During school I became the number student with green energy technologies. I was the Solar guy essentially. I got hired by a large energy company(its a secret shhh) and after a year with the company I was promoted to the company's Engineering Design Team Lead, where I am responsible for all electrical designs for every solar and generator system that is installed by my company and their install partners. I am technical reference for the company for all equipment that we use on site and I am currently working on obtaining my Electrical License so I can be a certified Master Electrician. So yeah thats pretty much it for my professional life, I'm approaching about two years in the company now enjoying it.

Now for the actual fun part, my personal life! I actually still talk to some of the people that used to be active here, ridiculous really. Vigil, Dragoon, and RockaholicGamer talk with my weekly if not more often. I still play games, I'm just not good anymore. Gone are the days of me being invited to be on an MLG team. Now I just laugh at how much a suck. I'm still good at Halo 3 for some damn reason and can prolly  out BR all you filthy casuals still.

Outside of video games, Im engaged! Over 5 years into a relationship with my future wife and could not be happier. I know youre all dying to know, I proposed in Sweden under the Northern Lights cause I'm sappy as fuck. That being said, I'm currently on the house hunt and I can't wait to begin flipping a house. =D

Uhh, Idk what else to say... This entertained me enough now I'm bored of this. I'm debating pressing random keys as a send off, kjlkjsdajkosdfjkgflgfjkfsadkn NO WAIT I HAVE A BETTER IDEA. I'm going to translate a so long message into Japanese and back to English and back again. Lets see how this goes.

Looking at the answer, I am looking forward to not replying. I remember about this in about a week.

Congrats man, glad to hear you doing great! Shame that you doing so great, as I imagine it does take away from your gaming time. But really that is awesome and seeing that you cooking (hehe) is cool.

I do miss playing with you guys, hopefully your soon to be wife is a gamer and you still get your fix lol.

Lol thanks, funny thing my company actually recently announced that it was closing. But funny thing I just finished an interview today where I got an offer on the spot. 10K more than what I make now. =D

So i've been very lucky and I appreciate the opportunities I've been getting.

If you still have live that is where Rock and I still mostly play on. And we're steam friends so like message me lol.

Yeah funny how some of my better friendships are from nerds I talk to online.

Rot invited me into a skype group a few years ago to play some league with his friends and I just kind of stuck around with them. We brought Rasq in to do something so he's kind of there. Pops in ever couple of months or so to chat about something.

one day we need to all just have one big chat and see where everyone ended up in life, things have changed so much in the last 10 years

I do have a discord account, and I find it easier to use than most chat services so I would be in for that.

Rot, Rasq and I talk on discord every day. I guess I can look into getting a channel or something if no one else has one already.

ive been playing a lot of Battlegrounds. im currently on west coast time but I will be back east at the end of next month so I will be able to talk at normal hours

Well you could use the text portions of it with the rest of us.

Also Rot and Rasq are both west coasters.

Indeed, should def do something. I know lax is always down for warthunder, maybe something we can get a group for. Or Empire at War, they just re-released the multiplayer for it and battlefront II on steam.
