I kept forgetting all day because I had to work.

I'm 22 now. Tonight we're going to Buffalo Wild Wings top my family can hold down my liver while I punch it in the face.

But why Bdubs? I mean, their beer selection is shit, their liquor selection is shit, their in-house brews are shit, their food ranges from shit to medicore, their service is shit. The only good thing I have to say about Bdubs is that the ice cream they use in their deserts is pretty good. Surely there is another sports bar in your area? Any sports bar? Because Bdubs is like the bottom of the barrel of sports bars.

The one by my house is actually pretty decent. They do vary pretty widely in quality though. The closest one to that one is a lot better, and another one I've been to downstate is complete shit.

It really depends on the particular staff and management of each restaurant. Mine's actually deteriorated from where it was a few years ago.

I suppose the service and food quality would vary establishment to establishment, and the beer selection is also a local decision. There's a Bdubs in Chandler that has Killian's Irish Red on draft, but the one in Mesa doesn't. And I suppose being on the west coast means that we have a lot of craft coverage at other sports bars. But I stand by the other things I said. I was at a Bdubs the other day, and I asked the waitress if they had any bourbon, and she looked at me and said "what's that?" and I died a little on the inside. And Game Changer tastes like ass.

Eh, I still only drink beer for now so I haven't really seen the rest of what they have. There aren't a ton of sports bars right around me anyway.

By which I mean, none besides Buffalo.

There's probably more of them closer to the city, but the one that's a five minute drive from my house is our go to spot.

I like BWW... though to be fair my standards of food aren't exactly high... I've given myself food poisoning 3 times from eating food that "still looks fine" despite being 2 weeks expired.

I too like the wings at BWW, but I too have given myself food poisoning before. Or to paraphrase the nurse at my school, I killed off the bacterial culture in my stomach leaving me temporarily lactose intolerant, among other things. Seeing as before I learned that I used milk as a panacea, it was not a fun couple of days.

I guess I'm just burnt out on Bdubs because the one roommate whom I despise loves it for no apparent reason, and constantly insists we go there over better sports bars. There's a local bar called The Hub that has better wings, better beer, better liquor, and generally better service that's just as far from our house as Bdubs, and the guy can't even drink beer or eat spicy food right now due to an intestinal issue, and he still suggests Bdubs every time we all get into the car to go get food, and once he gets it into his head, he will refuse to go anywhere else, like a petulent child.
